Hi there! Oh man, True Blood. I was reading the books for a while but lost track of where I am in the series. I watched Series 1 but don’t have HBO so I’m sort of out of the loop on the show. But I will say Sookie/Eric is probably my favorite couple. THEY’RE SO MESSED UP AND I LOVE IT.

I understand about the immune system thing, same here. My grandfather is in Hospice, but he has really bad pneumonia so I can't visit. I've been dealing with the crappy immune system for years, but I do get sick a lot less working from home (duh).

i don’t know if i get sick less working from home (since i started working from home before my immune system tanked) but i can definitely trace everything to patient zero, since i can easily go a week and never have contact with another human being except my husband

so he comes home with some garbage and i’m like “thanks a bunch”

when we made it to the river and just turned our lamps off and floated under them, i kept having the strange impression i was on a really good disney ride, the kind that has lights in the ceiling to imitate stars and the speakers doing the drip drip of cave water and your tube is on a track to keep you moving toward the exit

it was almost a mindfuck to remind myself this was a real cave, with millions of real insects, and that all this would keep on existing forever whether people ever came down here or not

i had this impression of new zealand a lot, actually, it should be their motto: "new zealand: seems like an awesome theme park to sheltered white girls, actually is not"

I think it’s all cute! I love the comfy sweater/shorts combo and that jacket is FIERCE! I would say the more double duty/easily matched pieces the better for packing purposes. I always pack a black skirt that can be dressed up/down.

see i feel like i have tons of pretty easily matching pieces because i'm a really really boring dresser - the problem for me, honestly, i i have some legit ocd issues about wearing anything a second time between washes (i don't always make it through a whole day in one outfit, even), so in addition to fashion and packing space i want to pick fabrics that won't be making me jump out of my skin if i have to wear them again before we reach a laundry stop

i cleaned out my mom's freezer and pantry last year after she passed away and she had frozen food from 2009 like how even mom

at least it's not just me, i feel so bad about the starving children and more selfishly about the FUCKING HUGE WASTE OF MONEY but i am a different person in the grocery store, a person who hilariously believes i'm going to figure out how to eat quinoa instead of going to arby's for the third time this week

the worst was when i threw a third birthday party for this organic chicken in my freezer - i knew it was in there, i knew it had been in there for years, but i kept thinking "eh" like it was a pair of pants i was hoping to fit into again, like no, self, do not turn into your mother, who thinks nine-year-old salad dressing can just come back into fashion

So, this is more'70's, but my mom still has our Weeble Wobbles. She got them out for my niece to play with at Christmas and those bitches still don't fall down! They've aged better than I have.
