Got stuck making clothes for him, but finally all done! Here's Lachlan, another NPC for the Fabula Ultima campaign I run for my friends.

The unassuming prince of the merfolk kingdom of Emcayo. He went incognito-ish to investigate the mysterious affliction of its neighboring city, Arvania, where he first encountered the players’ party. They only realized he was a prince when they encountered the villain, who recognized him.

Lachlan is unusually approachable for royalty, not because he’s particularly friendly, but because he’s slightly awkward and gives off the vibe of “just some guy.” Though his first impression lacks impact, he makes up for it with his love for the citizens of Emcayo, even if it puts him at odds with his father’s more traditional idea of rule. He demonstrates surprising bravery and dedication to his people, and is well-loved by civilians to an overly-familiar degree—to the point where no one calls him by any honorific, even among the royal guard. Random middle-aged aunties love to dote on him for some reason.
