French soldier whose face was mutilated in World War I, being fitted with a mask made at the American Red Cross studio of Anna Coleman Ladd https://www.theatlantic.com/photo/2014/04/world-war-i-in-photos-soldiers-and-civilians/507329/
I know it’s really hard to see unless you have the brightness all the way up, but I’m pretty sure that’s an eye there. After seeing this, I decided to come up with a concept for what his face might look like.
This was the result. I was kind of going for a more melty look, thinking he might’ve gotten shot in the face instead of slashed or clawed. The cracks are from it cooling and not healing right I guess. I wish I had a wider variety of colored pencils or knew how to use technology to do this. Then maybe my stuff wouldn’t come out looking so weird, lol
Mother fuckers!
So on my way home from work I got the absolutely lovely event of blowing a fuse in my car and stalling it. While broken down (with hazard lights on) I was berated with car horns and knuckle dragging half wits expertly pointing out my car is blocking traffic.
So let this part be known and be used as a warning as I will come to your window and educate you that a blown fuse means car no go. And will kindly ask you to get the fuck out of my face before I decide to make some changes to yours.
