Oh so when you plunge a knife into a pumpkin you're "carving a jack o lantern" and "being festive for the holiday" but when I, the humble facehugger, plunge my ovipositor into your face suddenly everyone is screaming and mad at me.

I just had an interesting thought.
You know how xenomorphs have no known natural predators. Well, what if there was one that topped them on the foodchain. I'm not talking about Yautjas, since they can be easily impregnated by the facehuggers and killed by the drones if they're not fast enough to counter their attacks. No, I'm saying what if their one predator is the Kalisk.
Here me out.
What if the reason Yautjas are fearful of Kalisks isn't just for their regeneration ability, but because a bunch of hunters were fighting xenomorphs one day and they stumbled upon a full grown Kalisk just nom-noming away on a whole nest of them, sparing absolutely none. Slurping down the eggs like Cadbury candies and crunching into the shells of the drones like the pillbug from Emperor's New Groove, never minding about the literal ACID BLOOD or the queen that's screeching profanities at it. The Kalisk just continued with its meal with the utmost glee, like a child excited for pizza night.
And here are these battle-hardened warriors witnessing this absolute BEAST demolish this whole nest of murder-dogs that had killed seven of them before it came along to feast, and that's the real reason the Kalisk is feared by Yautjas.
I made some dividers for the Alien franchise!
If you decide to use these, a reblog or a like would be appreciated! Thanks!

If it wasn't for the acid blood, facehuggers would make great space crab legs
