I'm rewatching 2012's Beauty and the Beast series on DVD and...
In season 1 episode 20, Vincent says, "He [Gabe] is wining and dining her [Cat] like Donald Trump" and I nearly choked on my spit. My god, we had no idea, did we? 2012 was a lifetime ago and back then Donald Trump was just a punchline, a pop culture reference.
EPIC the musical has my brain fried cuz when MJ said she didn't love Peter, the song "I'm not sorry for loving you" IMMEDIATELY started playing in my head. Odysseus meeting his mother Anticlea in the underworld. It hurts his heart to see she died of grief waiting for him to return.
The horror after Odysseus' men butcher the sun god's cows. The meat starts mooing on the skewers, the cowhides slither along the ground, and the carcasses get up and start moving like live cattle. It would've made for some great horror.
Penelope testing her husband by saying she moved the wedding bed (one of its posts was carved from an olive tree and the whole palace was built around it so you would have to uproot it to move the bed). Odysseus gets irate hearing that it was moved and his reaction is how she knows it's not Zeus in disguise (recall that Zeus is not above shapeshifting into women's husbands)
Telemachus nearly stringing Ody's bow on his first try with no prior knowledge but Ody secretly signals for him to stop
Athena being a bro and asking Eos (goddess of dawn) to hold back the day so Ody could have as much time "reuniting" with Penelope as possible.

I discovered this skit a week before I watched The Bride! (2026) and was disappointed that the movie was not as entertaining. Carol is still alive at 93 by the way. Legend.

Instead of a Backrooms movie sequel, it should be an anthology horror series
Hear me out: 10 to 12 episodes all dealing with different people and their motives for being in the backrooms. The scientist guy mentioned that doors to the Backrooms have appeared all over the world so just imagine...
A 10-yr-old runaway who takes shelter in a subway bathroom but exits to a subway station in the Backrooms. At first, it's a wonderland then it turns sinister as he realizes he wasn't the first kid to be lost in here...
An old man uses the Backrooms to escape his nursing home and relive his childhood home. The Backrooms use his nostalgia to warp the place so it's not exactly how he remembers it (it's either an allegory for dementia or him viewing a dysfunctional childhood with rose-tinted glasses).
A woman searches the Backrooms for her husband but finds the Still Life of him instead.
A person has a sixth sense for navigating the Backrooms and is recruited by the company to be their designated rescuer.
Season finale could be 2 episodes that pull together the survivors of previous episodes sharing their experiences and what the Entity appeared as to each of them.
It's the Twilight Zone mixed with the "exploring another dimension" element of Stranger Things. Whatcha think?
