Throwback Thursday to this board I painted a couple of years ago. It’s called “Face your Demons” and I expressed it right after my divorce, at a time of total fear n self-doubt. It was just the beginning of a journey of dealing with my dark side and slowly purging out the toxins in my body n mind. Though I’m not officially a therapist, troubled kids hit me up for help all the time. This week alone 3 suicidal people have written me looking for some answer. I don’t know if I have it, but I tell them to accept the darkness, work through it and know that better times are bound to come! Then a few other people have written me saying they are afraid to use the medicine of ayahuasca, cause they don’t want to face their dark side. But letting this negativity live in you, even control you for the rest of your life, is way worse. We gotta deal with our issues, be willing to get sick, to suffer, to do some sacrifice and use hard discipline, in order to purify into the shinny happy hearts we have inside. We all got healing work to do, and ideally our friends and family are there to support us in this process.
