i wish people would actually read the articles too bc they keep thinking 007 = james bond when 007 is just a codename that her character is or has taken over. i'd be real interested in seeing her take on a villain role as long as its a complex, non-hypersexualized villain.

I agreed, if more people read the article they’d realize as it is now there is very little to celebrate.

If the writers were more open to having women as characters that werent props or obstacles for men this would be great but I doubt that’s going to happen. I honestly cant remember the last time the Bond franchise didnt have a cringy villain steeped in harmful tropes and stereotypes and with Lashana being a dark-skinned black woman I’m even more worried.

It’s the undeniable truth and people need to just accept it and make peace with it. It’s possible for testosterone to transfer from one twin to another in the womb, and that’s exactly what happened. Sami leeched the testosterone from Rami in the womb, then sucker punched him out into the world four minutes earlier to suffer the reality of being born before him. That is the goddamn truth, and I’m sticking with it.

i think there is a real expectation to be mad at your significant other when they dont respond to your messages. but just bc its an expectation doesnt make it right. i find it inspiring how well you're handling the whole thing. you expressed your concerns & have empathy for her situation. that's a sign of a strong person. if anything, that makes you easy to love (tho easy/difficult isnt really a thing but you get it)

I do get what you’re saying, though, and thank you.

The few things I actually am mad about aren’t even the lack of contact, it was other things that I won’t get into deep here because it’s we have a tiny bit of real-life overlap on this blog and its private enough to not want to share with several thousand people.

On the bright side, this whole experience has given me some clear ideas of what I need from people who want to be partnered with me versus a friends with benefits situation. I think that’s something I’m going to practice talking about with my connections going forward.

cc loves incest. she wrote a short story where the female protagonist is attracted to her step cousin. the literal quote is "I tried to decide if it was immoral to lust after your step-cousin. I figured it wasn't. We weren't actually related. No shared blood." (i hate that i still own the book with this story bc the rest of the anthology is pretty good.)
