A: Once you’re together…very. Because of your history, they’re terrified you’ll wake up and realize how shitty they are and how much better you deserve.

Phae: They’re not jealous, but they are territorial. People can hit on you all they like, Phae knows it won’t go anywhere. They will make a point of being very touchy with you and rubbing it in the poor sap’s face, though.

Nav: They don’t really notice when people hit on you, quite honestly. They’re usually too busy with you to ever notice anyone else lmfao. If someone was persistent enough to get Nav’s attention, they would very quickly want to loose said attention.

Will: At first…pretty jealous. He’s a human servant and you’re beautiful and surrounded by beautiful, rich fae and how can he compete with that? Later on, as he gets to know you and your relationship solidifies, he copes a lot better and realizes you really do want him.

Saf: She’d put an arrow or two through someone if they’re pushy enough, to be quite honest. Only if they’re making you uncomfortable, though. Otherwise, she doesn’t really care; you want her and she wants you.

What are the tropes for the ROs?

Nav: Slow burn, star crossed lovers

A: Enemies to lovers, redemption

Phae: Friends to lovers, touch them and die

Will: Forbidden romance, self discovery

Sooo how would the king and queen feel about MC being in a relationship with any of the ROs?

Phae: They love this option. The Day Court is the only close ally of the crown currently, and this would solidify that. They also like that Phae is protective; the Lord/Lady of Day would relish in the blood of your enemies.

Nav: The child of their infant son’s murderer. A hard no. There’s a reason why they barely let you and Nav around each.

A: Eh. They’re unsure on this one. The heir of Dusk seems a little aggressive, and not in a good way like Phae.

Will: They can’t be upset, because that would mean admitting some bias against humans and you’re human so…sure. Just maybe don’t make him the official consort, if possible. Everyone had better accept it to make you happy or the High Queen will start lobbing heads off.

Saf: Okay, they have to draw a line somewhere and this is where. A Fae Hunter? Seriously? Is this your idea of young rebellion?

Can the Mc have conflicting feelings about their origin, them being a human and their parents?

MC was very sheltered growing up. Those allowed into the palace are heavily vetted and constantly watched while they are on the premises.

This is partially because the King and Queen have severe trauma from their son being assassinated as an infant. It’s also partially because they want to control who says what around you and what you’re exposed to.

Yes, you are human, but they have named you heir. They are giving you their kingdom and magic. They love you. They also lie to you about how you came into their care, and about how other humans are treated in the Faewild.

As MC is exposed to life outside the palace, you can choose how it changes your relationship with your parents. You can be someone who relishes the opportunity to see life beyond their protection, or someone who wants to run back into their arms.
