I was thinking about the post you made yesterday about your ADHD symptoms being worse. I'm having the same problem. At first I thought it was age related, but I passed a dementia test with flying colors, and then it occurred to me that my problems (dyscalculia and inattentiveness) have been getting worse since I've been on testosterone. I'm at a very low dosage now but it's like I hit a threshold and I don't think I'll ever get back to where I was. Maybe this a thing with testosterone? Opinion?
Wow, sorry for not replying to this sooner, a lot of things are falling out of my head at the moment! But yeah, oddly enough, you’re not the first person to mention this to me.
Incidentally, another friend mentioned an older person they knew who’d had a hysterectomy for medical reasons and found that a lack of oestrogen, rather than an uptick in testosterone, had caused similar issues with memory and cognition. So, there’s that. Personally I’ve just assumed that my own memory and general ADHD symptoms are getting worse because my depression is getting better and I’m trying to do things more, which creates more opportunity for me to fuck up and make mistakes, though.
Who knows!
