like we had gone through The Flash(es), The Martians were kind of a never ending topic, Artemis’ family drama dragged throughout the entire show, Conner and CADMUS is basically the premise of the show, and we had gotten multiple episodes of just Aqualad or his home of Atlantis.

And the way they had set up Jason’s storyline only to rip it away from us—also bringing in Cass and giving us that episode of how Barb was paralyzed…

today i had to let someone that meant a lot to me go, i had such high hopes for the future. i dreamed of sunny days and woke up to rain. its not surprising that i romanticized the small parts i was given. i saw the twinkles of the faded stars and loved them more than others. today i had to realize the truth about a man with expeditious potential. i listened to a podcast that gave me good advice, i cant be the main aspect of someones growth. some people grow in different ways no matter how great you adjust your route. what a fucking day

I know Finn is everyone’s least favorite Mikaelson, same, but he could have actually been interesting if the writers utilized him properly or cared to. Why not give insight into why he hated being a vampire so much? Show the struggles he possibly faced after first being turned. Were him and Esther always close or did that relationship only progress due to both of them hating immortality? How was his relationship with Mikael and his siblings prior to their transition? If they actually gave Finn a back story like they did the others, he would have been more understood instead of just being seen as a whiny bitch. THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE WHOLE POINT OF THE ORIGINALS SHOW! INSIGHT INTO THESE CHARACTERS’ PASTS AND WHY THEY ARE THE WAY THEY ARE, NOT ABOUT STUPID MAGIC BABIES AND HER ANNOYING MOM AND ONLY USING THE MIKAELSONS TO PROP THEM UP.

In conclusion, Finn could have been interesting if the writers actually cared about the Mikaelson family in the first place.
