Today was a dose of a reality check. See, I got hurt in December (not at crossfit) and I couldn’t train for an entire month to recover. That’s like an eternity for Crossfitters. Lol. But it had to be done. Now, It’s only my second week back, but I’m starting to realize how much of my strength has diminished from my injury. I used to be able to do 185x5 for OHS easily. Today I couldn’t even do 155x5. Even my arms were shaking from lack of stability. Anyways it’s highly irritating to say the least and it gives you that feeling of despair. However, I gotta remember, that I’m only human and I’m still recovering. Because that’s what we gotta do. We gotta recover from our setbacks in order to do better. I know I’ll get back to my normal strength eventually, and even go even beyond that. I just gotta trust the process and keep striving.
