Forgot to post. Late night training last night. 225lb overhead squat for 5 reps in order to improve my shoulder strength. Did 4 sets. Overall felt solid. Actually better than in the past when I used to struggle at this weight. Progress is progress.

Oof that was hard. In the gym at my hostel in Copenhagen decided to get a little workout done. Havent done overhead squatting in quite a while, my previous 1RM was 20kg and that was 2 years ago. Managed 2 reps at 30kg, wanted to go higher for a 1RM but the weights only went up in 10kg increments so that was a no. After you establish a new level of mobility, your neuromuscular system then needs to rewire or “get used to” the new range. Notice on her first rep, her body returns to the old range, then freaks out a little when it realizes it has more. On the second rep, it allows her to descend under control into the new range.
