This is why i’ve learned to walk away, or mentally keep distance from narcissists and bullies.

Especially the ones that make assumptions about people, because we’re quiet, introverted, or we intuitively “vibe” them, and stick to our instincts. 

After they’ve exhausted their tactics, they put on a show to the public of “extending the olive branch” or “make nice” or “Let’s pretend what we did, repeatedly - didn’t happen” or asking everyone else in the room “Why is it she doesn’t like me?” (because she sees right through all of you).  

The best “apology” bullies/narcissists can give to their target - is to just leave them alone (in peace), like they should have been in the first place.  

But that’s a blow to their ego.  And certainly not a good look.. especially when others are watching..

And as sure as Trump can tweet, every time that target walks into the room -their rage resurfaces - again, and again.  (It’s worst if they work in groups)..

Going along with their “let’s pretend it never happened crap”, and giving them that second, third, or fourth chance - you’re just giving them, the gun and the ammo, my dear.

They don’t want to change their behavior - just their image.
