Today was a dose of a reality check. See, I got hurt in December (not at crossfit) and I couldn’t train for an entire month to recover. That’s like an eternity for Crossfitters. Lol. But it had to be done. Now, It’s only my second week back, but I’m starting to realize how much of my strength has diminished from my injury. I used to be able to do 185x5 for OHS easily. Today I couldn’t even do 155x5. Even my arms were shaking from lack of stability. Anyways it’s highly irritating to say the least and it gives you that feeling of despair. However, I gotta remember, that I’m only human and I’m still recovering. Because that’s what we gotta do. We gotta recover from our setbacks in order to do better. I know I’ll get back to my normal strength eventually, and even go even beyond that. I just gotta trust the process and keep striving. We as a people need to stop Quitting on each other. Quitting on our youth, Quitting on relationships, quitting on our community, Quitting on ambitious people, Quitting on loving each other, Quitting supporting each other, some even quit on God. Everyday I come across someone who is quitting on society, life, friendships, jobs, etc.. Because it's not going how they want it to go or the task is to difficult or thinks they are better than the next person. They would rather switch by associating with a different race makes there so called business better. Or being something that they aren't makes them a better person. Or they would rather hate on you than just encourage you or support. Im not perfect i have flaws just like the next man but im worth the effort. People quit on me in the past even now but ... it just made me stronger and better and realize NOW I would never QUIT on my ambition and my people. I believe I can change the world. THAT'S HOW I FEEL! WAKE UP PEOPLE need to stop Quitting on each other and help each through the pain and sorrow to make a better person better than they were before. You don't have to be famous to be black history. My homie and great friend Curtis Jackson @blkpilot_swagg a great inspirational brother. This is someone was not in a military, didn't have a rich father to give him a crazy loan to start his dream. This man used to handle people luggage at a airport for years with dreams of becoming a Airline pilot. I seen this guy hustle and strive to become a pilot everyday and every night.. Back then he worked on the plane. Now days he's the captain of the plane. It happen for him and it can happen for you. Black History is always in front of you..
