I was recommended Ness Pizza a looong time ago and finally found myself in Fair Lawn with a hankering for some za. I was a little worried that they were a pie only place because there weren't any slices out on the counter, but it turned out they had them all stacked behind the counter out of view. You'd think they might be trying to hide bad pizza but on the contrary I was blown away by how good it was! I got two of my standards (a $3 plain and a $4 buffalo) and thoroughly enjoyed both. The plain was super thin (almost too thin even!) with stretchy cheese, subtle sauce, and the perfect ratio of chewy to crispy in the crust. Honestly, I had no gripes with the plain, it was by far the best plain slice I've had in Fair Lawn. The buffalo was also great with a good kick in the sauce. My only complaint is that they put celery on top, but the rest of the slice was so good I was able to look past it. I was also pretty full from the pair even though they weren't super heavy slices. I highly recommend giving Ness a try, it's among the best pizza I've had in Bergen County.
