There was a knock at her door, then another, then another, 3, Matthew. "Come in."

The door open and Matthew walked in, his hair disheveled and his eyes distressed. "I'm sorry to bother yo-"

"You're not bothering me. What happened?" Lucie asked calmly.

A slight pause, "he's doing it again."

"Oh Matthew." She quickly got out of bed and hugged him. "You need to tell someone."

"What if they don't believe me, Lu?" He's whispered, close to tears. "I can't even tell James about it, how would I tell my parents or anyone else."

Lucie rubbed him back soothingly, "you can't let him keep hurting you like this. Anna knows right? Have them do something."

"She already told Vex to not let him in the club anymore, but what am I supposed to do when he corners me in an alleyway?" He started sobbing into her shoulder. "I'm just so tired of being helpless Lucie."

She pet his hair, "shhhh, it's okay love, how about we go to sleep now and in the morning we'll tell my mom what's been happening. She'll make sure he never goes near you again, and no one besides our mothers will ever have to know what's been happening alright?"

Matthew nodded and pulled away from her shoulder, wiping his eyes as goes towards the bed. "Can you hold me tonight?"

She went to her side of the bed and started getting in, "Matthew, you're one of my best friends, I'd do anything to make you feel better." He smiles at her and climbs in as well, wiggling his way closer allowing him to be able to wrap his arms around her and place his head over her heart. He soon fell asleep with her stroking his hair and listening to her heartbeat.
