He looks up at her with red and teary eyes, his cheeks and nose also have a faint share of red to them and he looks like he’s been crying for a long time already. His chest hurts and his heart feels tight, as if something is holding it and squeezing it every time he thinks of his situation at the moment.

An arranged wedding, right after he found his true love… The person he loves the most in the whole world. It doesn’t feel real or fair, and he has no idea what to do to make things better. He can’t just go to the Unseelie court and refuse to marry the autumn fae, they wouldn’t let him, and he isn’t sure if the Seelie court will accept him and his relationship with Yejun.

The only solution Remi can think of is running away with his lover. To a place where they can be happy ever after together, away from anything or anyone that could take them apart.

But Victoria’s words, her support, and encouragement, they bring warmth to his heart. He reaches for her hands, so much warmer against his own, and his lips tremble when he speaks to her. “Really?” The winter fae asks, tears slowly running down his cold cheks. “Do you really believe in me, Victoria? Do you really think I can do it?”

lyall appreciates strength. he respects the grit of it in other wolves, and looks forward to the fight of proving he’s better. so it’s welcome-- the scent of another alpha close to his territory. even if it makes his teeth prick, his nails to curl into claws, and he stalks the other wolf downwind until he’s close enough to sight-- but it’s just lawrence.

the alpha isn’t a threat. lyall thinks if he used enough strength? lawrence would show his belly, and the thought pleases him-- that he can get another alpha to submit.

“do you know what you smell like?“

he jostles in close. clasps a hand to the back of lawrence’s neck, thumb digging into the vein to feel it pulse solid, slow and unthreatened.

“a bit like pine. but also bitter-- like day old prey.“

he likes it. lyall moves behind to press his chest against the other alpha’s back, and rests his chin on a shoulder. their beards scrape and catch, and lyall growls, pleased as he points out--

“but now you smell like me.”

Remi has a bright smile on his lips, and it only gets brighter every time his gaze shifts towards Victoria. How many times had he dreamed about doing something like that, something silly and innocent such as building a snowman with a friend? A friend. That word and its meaning bring warmth to his heart, a heart that used to be so cold and frigid.

He sees her own smile and he can’t help the quiet giggle that escapes past his parted lips, his eyes almost disappear into small crescents. “Tell me if you need a break,” the winter fae says, loud enough for the girl to hear. “I’m used to how cold the snow is, but I’m sure you aren’t. Your hands must be numb already, Victoria.”

🌿 - lawrence & apollo !

Once the party with the other gods and goddesses has calmed down a bit and Apollo has given all the presents he had for his family, he passes by Tiresias’ house. He’s planning on giving his advisor a present as well, and maybe a hug too to thank him for his hard work — but the moment he steps into the house and sees his favorite actor and Tiresias’ friend is also there… His brain stops functioned for a few seconds.

The sun god looks at the man and blinks, his cheeks turn a faint shade of red and a smile forms on his lips. 

“Hello, Lawrence,” Apollo says. “Where’s Sias?”

“In the kitchen,” the werewolf responds, pointing to the door across the room. “Said he was going to bring the dessert.”

“Oh, nice!” The god nods and walks towards the actor, the smile doesn’t leave his lips and he takes a seat next to the other on the table. His heart beats fast, but he does his best not to show it so clearly — even though his cheeks still look red. And while trying to calm himself down, Apollo looks up and his eyes shine bright when he sees what’s hanging above them.

Was that one of Dionysus’ and Tiresias’ plans to help Apollo get laid again?

Whatever it is, the sun god can’t help the giggle that escapes his lips. He nudges Lawrence, and when the werewolf looks at him, he points up at the mistletoe — his eyes still have that sparkle, a mix of joy and the slightest bit of nervousness.

“Should we…?” Apollo asks, even though he’s sure what the answer to his question will be. He still has hopes.

💓 - surprise mE

a budding romance.

Apollo has never had much interest in werewolves. There was just something about them that made the god feel… slightly disturbed. He can’t really tell what it is, but it is something that has prevented him from interacting with the creatures. Maybe it’s fear, but those words would never leave the sun god’s mouth. Though, there is something different in this one werewolf in particular.

The first time Apollo sees him, the man is playing a character in a TV show, and that’s when he caught the god’s attention. He wouldn’t miss one episode of the show, only because he really wanted to see the handsome actor that portrayed the role of the main character — manly and charming, it made sense why every character was in love with him.

That fucker, Eros, strikes again!

In the first opportunity he has, as soon as he hears about Lawrence Talbot being in a live performance in the nearest theatre, Apollo buys himself a ticket. He’s eager, the first in line to go into the place and take the best seat. Anything to see his adored actor in person, in all his glory and talent, right before the god’s eyes.

They sparkle with joy when the werewolf steps on the stage and a smile form on his lips during the whole presentation. Soon, the piece is over and the room is drowning in applauses, and the smile that Apollo sees on Lawrence’s face makes his heart beat faster than normal. For a little moment, he could swear the actor looked in his direction, with that bright and beautiful smile of his, and all Apollo could ever want is a moment with the man.

It is obvious that gods have a lot of privileges, and this time isn’t any different. The sun god asks the manager of the theatre if he could speak to the main actor of the piece, and who could say no to the sun himself? 

His eyes sparkle again when he stands right in front of the actor, the corners of his lips curl into a gentle and sweet smile, and he offers his hand for a handshake. “It’s a pleasure to meet you in person,” the sun god says, his voice is low and full of admiration. “I’m a great fan of your work, Lawrence. Can I get an autograph? And… maybe a date too?”
