Oh MAN, so, you know that Cartoon Link is the Hero of Hyrule, aka the original Zelda video game, right? and it seems to take place somewhere in the middle of the game, once he gets the Triforce of Wisdom but before he defeats Ganon! I'm hoping to write a fic where Cartoon Link, with all his weird mannerisms and all, finally kills Ganon and then is sent off on his *next* quest, the Adventure of Link. Anyway, cartoon Link as a fairy would be hilarious.

He's based on the first game, yeah! Pretty cool what they came up with considering they only had that to go off of =) I tend to depict the Cartoon Link as a hero in an era after the Zelda 2 bad end (with a story that mirrors his predecessor), but there's absolutely no denying the original influence of the first games! Your idea sounds amazing--an alternate take/expansion of the first games with the Zelda Cartoon characters getting to grow--I'd love to read that!

Also the fairy idea is absolutely hilarious and they absolutely should have done an episode like that! (Spryte the fairy also thinks Link's new spell is amazing, lol. Zelda finds the spell both very funny and very cute >u<)
