Sometimes love is 50-50, but more times it’s not ... some days it’s going to be 80-20... Love is dying to your ego, pride, self and placing your spouse above your own needs and serving them especially when it’s hard - sometimes behavior and words are a reflection of your spouses pain that they don’t know how to verbally express for one reason or another - regardless we are supposed to be our spouses friend, lover, and confidant no where does the word detective come into that scenario. Today’s daily devotional was interesting & very applicable. It’s focus is on Galatians 6:9. however it also directed me to Hebrews 12:2 We’re it tells us to keep our eyes on Jesus. Because Jesus authored our faith and he continues to perfect it. “Because we are humans, we still battle with what our flesh desires. Not just that - but our flesh will always drift towards what feels good & what is easier. It’s easier to let our minds roam towards the unpredictable & uncertainty that life brings. to change that we fix our eyes on Jesus. When we look towards him, our minds are less likely to stay fixed on the problems.
