“na jaane unki parwah kyu karta hai dil
jinke aane ki tamannah kho baitha hai wo”
- Noorjehan
You, as pioneers, must exercise the greatest amount of your patience. Sow the seeds with your pure hearts and remain sure within the depths of your souls that the Almighty will allow them to grow in due time. The beloved Master has said that a breath you take in His service, that breath will become fruitful even if it will be within one thousand years. This is the extent of our patience - one thousand years.
Hand of the Cause Abu'l-Qásim Faizi, in a letter dated 9 January 1970
"khamoshi se matlab nahi matlab baaton se hai,
din toh guzar hi jayenge masla raaton se hai"
- Mirza Ghalib
"jaanta hu ke tujhe saath toh rakhte hain kayi,
puchna tha ke tera dhyaan bhi rakhta hai koi"
- Umair Najmi
"faasle aise bhi honge ye kabhi socha na tha,
saamne baitha tha mere aur wo mera na tha"
- Adim Hashmi
"khatam hone ko hai safar shayad
phir milenge kabhi magar shayad"
- Jaun Eliya
Probably gonna create a moodboard series for the mbti types ft. Persian couplets (translated in English ofc) that fit their aesthetic. For example, a dark academia moodboard ft Faizi's couplet (from Nal-o-Daman, 16th century) that represents ISTJ (Si-Fi) to me:
Make a hundred songs of pain into poetry, Fill the fresh goblet with an old wine.
