i am very tempted to make a fake fandom bc i just lied to my friend for the giggles while talking abt a ship that does not exist and i just want them to search for this shit and actually find something like fanart and fanfic and then i just start talking excitedly to them abt it and how "omg its also like- eight chapters long??? but its still sooo good" and then when i see them laying on the floor, madness overtaking their very soul, i stare right into their eyes and with a sharp and malicious grin just say "it exists in the way that you and i are write our stories, only in the mind"

anyone else who wanna do this elaborate prank???

“blorbo from my shoes” keeps refraining in my head and I started thinking about how I would even begin to explain it to my 76 yo mom whose internet experience is mainly aol forums and fb, who the extent of her fandom experience is probably the bookclub that meets at her public library, and whose favorite comedy is Friends and I just keep cracking myself up at just imagining the various faces she’d make as I went through explaining each level of the joke.

I can't believe your era 2 au fanfic has almost 200 chapters! What inspired you to flesh out the flower kingdom when it was so poorly done in canon?

Like, I don’t believe it was done poorly in canon?  I mean, they definitely could have explored it more, but honestly I just loved era 2, and there was so much to work with!  

But I guess what really inspired me was Grendo the third (aka Trine).  Just, everything that happened to him was so awful, and obviously there was more that didn’t happen ‘on screen,’ and it should be such fanfic fuel, but it got ignored because people don’t want to acknowledge that the first heroes of era three, the ones that Kayuna, Beligrad and all the others look up to, are the ones that did it to him.  

Plus Mozenta.  I know people don’t like him, but he’s clearly dealing with a lot of trauma throughout the series, and I feel like we get a glimpse of the real him in era 2.
