MENU DESIGN
OOOOO MY GOD I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AND I FOUND THE PROJECT MY TYPOGRAPHY PROFESSOR HATED 🥺
I used my cat’s eyes and fur for the backdrop…but besides the font everything else I formatted. This was before I turned 21 too…I had never EVER looked at alcohol before so I was so confused by the terminology. Also the professor was like “just use ai to figure out your items” 😀 NEARLY LOST IT…BUT I DECIDED TO PERSONALLY RESEARCH FOOD MENUS AND MADE UP EVERY. SINGLE. PUN. OUT OF SPITE—I REFUSE TO RELY ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN MY BRAIN!
Also I wanted it to be a cat cafe menu but I was told I could do that but I couldn’t have cats be the main theme, only secondary…so I ONCE AGAIN had to come up with a jazz themed cat cafe….and make up music puns…
Anyways he gave me a C because he told me not to use color on my first one and deducted points for not having enough color. and some balancing issues and refused to grade this fixed version (the one with color that I WANTED).
But uhhh yeah, I like it, I only have a single printout of this. The original file is…somewhere…
A while back, I did an assignment for one of my classes, we were assigned to make a menu based on anything (school friendly) and I chose to do a Kid vs Kat menu thing. It's fake though but I got a good grade for it.

And clicking on “menu” does nothing. No menu pops up. Nothing.

A bifold menu design I did in 2018. I had to create the name, logo, and all menu items. I usually show this as one of my examples of layout design that I’m particularly proud of. I think the hardest part was trying to come up with all the puns.
And this, kids, is why you need to buy your domain name early!
