Hatchien, the slimy Fakemon, grass type. One of the three traditional starter Fakemon for the Faux Region, Hatchien is easy to care for. They eat just about everything, and can be very powerful. However, most starting trainers avoid Hatchien for their slimy symbiotes. The slime mold that all Hatchien develop shortly after hatching is vital to their immune system, but most trainers just don’t care. If you choose a Hatchien, give them lots of love! Evolve at LVL 18 with high friendship

Sporaptor, the slimy Fakemon, grass/fairy. Sporaptor are swift runners, their short legs deceptively powerful. Their new form upgrades their slime mold symbiote, allowing movement, and the creation of pseudopods that act as arms for the armless Fakemon. Scientists are studying the link, hoping to one day achieve such a bond for disabled humans. Their skin also produces more slime mold if the current layer is damaged. Evolve at LVL 30 with high friendship

Tyranungus, The Slime Mold King Fakemon, Grass/Fairy. This giant Fakemon is a fierce fighter, an indomitable defender, and a startlingly gentle caretaker of smaller or weaker Fakemon. They carefully scent mark their trainer, their trainer’s team, and sometimes their trainers family or friends, so that others know that they are under Tyranungus’ protection. Woe be upon those who threaten a child or small Fakemon in their vicinity - there have been tales of an angry Tyranungus tracking abusive humans for days to punish them. The mushrooms that grow off their skin are highly effective healing items, and prized by potion makers, mushroom maniacs, and doctors.

Gooyl, the carefree Fakemon, water type. One of the three traditional Faux Region starters, Gooyl is seen as the easiest choice, though this is a mistake. They’re rather laid back, that part is true, but Gooyl require constant supervision and enrichment. If left alone, their Sapphirine teeth can slice through pillows, curtains, and couches with ease. If you’re ready for this level of responsibility, then Gooyl will be a wonderful companion and enthusiastic battler. Evolve at LVL 18 with high friendship

Glorpoise, the Carefree Fakemon, Water/Dragon. Simultaneously more energetic and lazier than its previous form, Glorpoise will sunbathe for hours, then do hundreds of jumps and laps in a lake. Their teeth are Sapphire now, and their outer tusk is sharper still. If you keep your Glorpoise entertained and exercised, you will find them a cheerful partner. Evolve at LVL 30 with high friendship

Gargloosh, the Seventh Sea Fakemon, Water/Dragon. Gargloosh are enormous, and their joy is larger still. Their tiny wings propel them through calm seas and wild storms with ease. Gargloosh are useful in high seas rescues, and with a great majority happening in the Seventh Sea, many a sailor, lifeguard, and marine biologist have a Gargloosh on their team.

Cuddlash, The Sneaky Hug Fakemon, Ghost/Water. Cuddlash are highly social Fakemon, with a complicated social structure. They also have an unusual tendency to “adopt” humans - many a scientist has begun study of their society and found themselves followed home by a Cuddlash who decided they looked like fun. Be cautious though - Cuddlash’s arms are extremely powerful, and their manipulation of sea water can be deadly under threats.

Florimp, the Mischief Fakemon, Bug type. Florimp are notorious pests, stealing everything from anyone. They will hide in flowering bushes and bite anyone who dares to sniff. The can be excellent partners, but the amount of work, and their kleptomaniac nature, can be too frustrating for some. Evolve at LVL 30 with high defense.

Tricburr, the Scheming Fakemon, Bug Type. Tricburr have great difficulty stealing anything, so they turn to pranks and plots. They are great at strategy games, but will plot petty revenge if they lose. Many a trainer has won a game and the found half their socks glued to the wall. Evolve at LVL 65 with high friendship.

Mantherror, the Frightful Fakemon, Dark/Bug. Mantherror are the focus of many a horror story and nightmare, stalking their prey through dark streets and winding paths. However, most stories miss the main point - Mantherror are placid and petty until their chosen partner is hurt or emotionally damaged. Only then will one find themselves hunted. Or if you challenge one to a prank war - then you’re Texas Toast.

Succuleaf, the Shy Sprout Fakemon, Grass/Water. Succuleaf are nearly blind, and hide in hollow trees and deep glades in both the Wonder Woods and Amazing Jungle. They highly resemble natural flora, so many a trainer may walk right past one unknowingly. Their leaves, when naturally she’d, have great medicinal properties, so many a doctor, pharmacist, and witch in the Wonder Woods have one of these as a partner. Rumor has it that they may evolve under very specific circumstances…

Sparoial, the Heir Fakemon, Fire type. One of the three traditional starters of the Faux Region, Sparoial is considered to not be the best choice for most new trainers. They’re particularly finicky, anxious Fakemon, with a specific diet needed to keep their feathers from falling out. Despite their difficulties, Sparoial can be powerful partners for someone prepared for an ordeal. Evolve at LVL 18 with high friendship

Emprince, the Heir Fakemon, Fire/Ghost. Emprince are absolute terrors, demanding and bratty on a bad day. Many an Emprince have been dumped out in the Wonder Woods by trainers who find themselves unable to deal with the strain. However, with proper training, an Emprince can be much more polite - they just want to know that their trainer loves them! Evolve at LVL 30 with high friendship

Flamquing, the Spirit Flame Emperor Fakemon, Fire/Ghost. Standing in the space between the living and the dead, Flamquing are calm Fakemon with a tendency to act like they’re in charge. Often disobeying the orders of a weak trainer, they will do what the spirits ask of them instead. It takes a strong willed person, one willing to follow Flamquing into cemeteries and haunted woodlands, to hold their loyalty.

Glaciowl, the silent frost Fakemon, Ice/Normal. When out walking in the Northern Wastes, if a noiseless cold breeze leaves frost on your coat, a Glaciowl has flown past. This predatory Fakemon can eat up to 10 mice in a single night, and swallows them whole. They spit the bones in icy pellets as an attack, and their screech is uncomfortable to hear. Somehow, the fashionable trainers have decided that Glaciowl-themed outfits are a good, profitable idea; said trainers are perplexed when said Fakemon attacks them on sight.

Swatchin, the false bird Fakemon, Steel/Electric. Swatchin will hide in flocks of bird Fakemon, in order to watch and learn. They attempt to imitate other Fakemon, but are poor actors. They can be found on telephone poles, staring at people. They are decent partners, if a bit clingy. Evolve at LVL 20

Unsurveye, the false bird Fakemon, Steel/Electric. Unsurveye are expert aerial trackers, with their powerful eyes able to see through some buildings. They track their prey, whether food or an ordered target, swooping close and imitating various noises until the prey is panicked, then pounce. These Fakemon are used by detectives, police officers, search and rescue personnel, and a few high ranking members of the Crime Syndicate.
