So today:

Had q2q's for my pieces in the dance concert today, and they went really well! I feel practically ready to open after like 2 hours of rehearsal, and I'm really proud of myself! The lighting director also not only made me the associate lighting director, but she offered me an associate position for next quarter (a promotion from assistant), and sent me an email about the fact that I was "spectacular" today. Feels pretty damn good after being constantly torn down by the other kids!

It was the beginning of the fall equinox and as usual, the fates had a celebration to welcome the new season. It was in the open so any passerby could see them. That is, if they were inclined to see spirits. Music filled the air, rich and wild. All women wore soft colored dresses that were made with numerous colors like orange, brown and soft reds. The men wore solid suits either orange or brown. There was laughter everywhere along with dancing.

Fall Dance

I said something to my friend as we drove back to Newman from the dance

"For the first time in my 4 years here I wasn't trying to impress a guy at the dance, didn't dress up for a guy, ect. I was just here to help set up and have fun..."

And I did. Two guys asked me to dance, I danced it was fun but it didn't cause romantic feelings that say a year ago would have been the case. 

I feel so proud of myself...emotional chastity and dating fast showing results!
