Okay I gotta say Fall of Avalon is better than Skyrim and Oblivion. Fought my first real "boss" in the main story and damn, it was hard as a glass cannon. Literally died in one or two hits and had to be constantly dodging and casting my spells when I could and using summons to just distract him. I thought the combat was getting kind of easy up to that point because I can one shot a lot of early enemies now but even then if they land a hit on me I lose like a quarter of health

Quests actually have funny and good writing that I wouldn't want to spoil them just because they're amusing or have unexpected turns. I like that you can aspire to be some ideal knight or be a sarcastic ass. If this was a Bethesda game people would be saying they're so back but it's an indie from a euro studio

Just learned you can kill the crabs on the starting beach of Avalon… on my third or so playthrough. I have 25 crab now ,_, after spending 5 minutes chasing crabs with a broken mace.
