pretty insane to me how every time I said something about my weight as a small child it was always met with "well it'll fall off as you get older don't worry" (a lie meant to comfort them more than me) and "maybe you should eat less junk then" (said to a literal 6 yr old) instead of like "don't worry about that kinda stuff you're just a child and there's nothing wrong with the way you look" (the truth and also the right thing to say to a small child)
