I've gotten a fair bit of tags on my naturalist arts about people remembering that they've left him in x y z location for months and well tis the season (well, a bit past the season) for this turkey meme

I debate swapping his destiny around basically every holiday, but for now at least Samuel's current destiny is The Chariot, the one where you make it to the Neon Future in order to prepare to go East -- for Sam, this has a heavy weight of melancholy to me; an ending where he's lived so long that he struggles to find a purpose he can stomach in a world that's increasingly tamed and charted, and finally sets his sights on the one remaining impossible place, the one he used to get those strange dreams about, back when the zee was still dangerous. It fits him, but in a tragic way? What Even Lies East feels so unsettlingly mysterious that it's hard to know what this means for him, but it sure comes across as a Final Voyage.

HOWEVER, there is one mention of racecars in one of the Neon Future cards so OBVIOUSLY I HAD TO THINK ABOUT THAT!!!! this man must be so adrenaline starved in Modern Society HES GOTTA BE DOING DEADLY RACECAR BULLSHIT RIGHT????? I had to doodle him as a racecar driver. its so wild that this is technically canon. Fallen London is an amazing game.

YOU CAN'T IMAGINE HOW CLOSE HE IS TO A SITUATION, AND HE DOESN'T EVEN WEAR A HAT OR GLOVES, and he's definitely tactile and would think it's cute when nihilego will try to cling onto him (especially with a hc that the most of neurotoxin is concentrated in the bell and at the ends of the tentacles)

album is Patient Man by Cult Leader. rly uhh. brooding metalcore?? idk genres. theres aggressive screaming in most of the songs. my favourite is kind of a melancholic ballad however and it often reminds me of Him

its also a very good song for hyacinthe. plus tortured pcs from the surface in general

this one is also quite evolutioncore. to me.
