Playing Echoes of Wisdom when I noticed this detail: this might be the FIRST game to confirm the existence of Female Hyrulean Soldiers/Knights.🤔
also. to me, fallen ganon doesn't come from the timeline where link got somehow defeated (?? not sure why that would cause a split), but from the weird timeline that should have led to the end of ocarina of time but sort of didn't (so the place in the space-time continuum child link returns to after putting the master sword back), where I assume Link sort of disappeared from at some point --and so there wouldn't be anyone to oppose Ganon anymore, Courage could get dormant for a good while, etc etc
Hey, what if the fallen timeline was doomed from the start?
Hey, hear us out.
What if it was doomed from the start? What if the times had spot way earlier than we had thought, And that The Hero of Time had only split them further? What if evil had already taken over? And the world had already been taken by evil but nobody realized because they had done everything they had needed to, to have a good kingdom.
What if Shadow and Vio actually took over Hyrule?
In the fallen timeline, I like to believe that Navi became a mother fairy. Not just any. You may know her as the Lady of the Lake in Link to the Past. She helps the Hero by giving back ‘dropped’ items and endows some of them with magic.
We'll see each other again

10. the hyrule that aol takes place in is to the north of the hyrule from every other game. spectacle rock in botw is to the south of gerudo. this means that spectacle rock in botw is the spectacle rock from death mountain in every other legend of zelda game. i am right and you are wrong
Death would be better ch.3
next chapter. a lot more angst. Will Fallen be free? we will never know!

‘Link took this opportunity to squirm, kick and shove, finally one well placed punch to Ganon's eye causing the gerudo king to drop him.’
‘I’m free...I’m free! I need to run!’ Link thought as he ran as fast as he could. He didn’t bother to look up, all he could do was run as he heard the chaos. He could hear Ganon’s bombing voice screaming orders at others, the guards and the gerudos panic voices trying to figure out what was happening.
Link could feel himself losing some strength, he was losing his speed and with each step he could hear someone running up to him. Link was silently cursing himself for not eating. He felt hands scoop him up off the ground, to which he lets out an ear shattering scream.
“Link it’s me, I’m you! You're safe!” A voice screamed at him as they ran further from the chaos. Link couldn’t help but notice the difference in the voice, it wasn’t Ganon.
Link finally allowed the darkness to surround him, feeling safe for once.
-
Ganon was trying his best to scream out orders. He had felt Link shake out of his arms not knowing if it was out of fear of him or the one who attacked. However either way Link was getting another session when they got home. As Ganon finally was able to get the wood dust out of his eyes. All he saw was figures he got glances when he touched the triforce, the faces that would doom him to death, the ones that survive if he died. And he saw his Link, his little project being taken by the one he was suppose to become.
“No!” Ganon yelled out in anger. All his progress, his little project in the making, gone. The King looked around in shock, his knights were confused as were the citizens.
“Guards! To the castle now!” Ganon barked out as he marched to the castle. He had worked hard breaking his latest project, and he wasn’t about to let the goddesses or even these heroes mess with his plans.

All the Links ran, as they finally got away from the bickering town square they followed the eldest hero. Time was leading the group with the small boy in his arms, and no one said a word as they followed him. They finally got to the outside of some woods.
“The safest place for him is likely inside the woods” Time said before looking back to the links “You guys need to hold on to me, these woods will kill those who get lost”
The boys flinched at that knowledge however hearing the young child whimper in Time’s arms they shoved their fear aside. Twilight grabbed the back of Time’s clothes and the rest of the links formed a chain, not willingly to get close.
They all slowly walked through the forest of green and finally found a clear spot. Time fell to the ground which allowed the other Links to take a break as well.
Time held the unconscious boy closer, trying his best to hold back tears as he glanced over the boy’s body. As the other links got closer some erupted into tears as they saw the child.
He was so skinny and pale, the kind you would expect with prisoners in the dungeon. There were bandages wrapped around his arms when pulled away revealed horrible scars and still healing wounds. The skin on his body looked bruised as well, especially the one forming around his neck. His little whimpers didn’t help any of the spirits of the links.
“Time who is he?” Legend asked in shock.
“I…..I don’t know, I know he freaked out when he saw me,” Time said as he looked down at the child.
Hyrule approached closer, an expression of horror plastered across his face.
“Time, there's a lot of dark magic around his head” Hyrule said as he got close “I think I can get rid of it”
“Will it hurt him?” Time asked with sadness in his eyes.
“No, I'll just remove the dark magic,” Hyrule said as he brought his hands to the side of the child’s head.
As soon as Hyrule started his magic the child’s eyes opened and a scream of horror came from his mouth. The boy began to thrash, kicking and screaming. They boy kept screaming out no’s and different names.
“NOO! Don’t take anymore from me!! NAVI! SARIA!! Some help me!!” the boy in green screams, each word draining Time of his color.
“Link. Link! You’re ok. We won’t take anything from you” Time trying to calm down the boy. The boy finally stopped thrashing but his tear filled eyes glared at Time.
“No, I don't believe you” He whimpered out.
“Why don’t you tell me about Navi?” Time offered as Hyrule secretly started to work his magic.
“...N….Navi was my fairy, my guide….Ganon took her from me” The young child whimpered out.
“We’ll find a way to bring her back” Time whispered out “Who else do you remember?” Hyrule just continued to work his magic.
“T..there was Saira. She had green hair, she was nice….she raised me. There was Ruta….the zora princess, she wanted me to marry her” The child whimpered out.
“Yes, was there anyone else?” Time asked.
“There...there were the gorons” The child sputtered out as a smile crossed his face “Darunia, with the big belly laugh….I remember him”
The other Links smiled as the boy's face lit up until Hyrule let out a scream. The dark magic in the boys head lashed out at all the light magic.
The boy looked up to the others knowing these people were somewhat safe.
‘Will they stay safe?’

Ganon was pissed as he walked back and forth in the war room, his mothers finally showed up.
“What wrong?” One of them said, however, Ganon was too riled up to care who.
“What’s wong?!? My little project is missing!” Ganon said throwing something breakable on the floor “And if that wasn’t bad enough! The one who stole him was his older self!”
“What?” One of them asked.
“When I touched the triforce I saw everything! I saw what that little brat will become! And that soldier was exactly what I saw!” Ganon ranted and raved, to his mothers and general.
“All of you, find him!!” Ganon yelled out with anger and slight fear.
Ganon just shaked slightly as he tried to calm down, he had seen what that monster of a child could do as he grew up. He had seen that monster take down a demon and the moon. That man was what the brat would turn to and the only thing that could ruin his place at the throne. It’s why he spent so much time and effort on the brat.
‘And now it could be all ruined”
-
Time held the boy close as he calmed down, the young child was seemingly having trouble breathing.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Time offered, but the child just buried his face into his chest. As the child finally seemed to calm down and fall asleep, Time's face shifted into one of horror.
"Time, What's wrong?" Twilight asked.
"I....I think this child...is me" Time stuttered out in shock. The links confused expression spoke volumes to him.
"How is that possible?" War asked in shock.
"We're likely in our timeline" Legend states gaining all the attention "It's well known that the Hero of Time failed in my timeline"
Everyone looked in horror at the young sleeping child.
"What does your history say about him?" Time asked in a whimper.
"I don't know." Legend offered as his expression shifted to sadness as he looked at the young time "They never said how he failed, just that he didn't defeat Ganon...I would have never guess the monster would do something like this"
"Then we need to do something!" Wind said causing everyone to look at him "We can't leave him with this fate!"
"You're right, but if we're going to help, he needs a name" Time said.
"Fallen”
