“Cinder is a Branwen” isn’t even that crazy of a theory. Especially compared to my “Adam and Yang are siblings” crackpot conspiracy theory.
ah, the time no one knew what was behind adam's mask or what color his eyes were, i miss it so ♥
for real tho, sometimes i really miss the early days of fandom where everything was plausible and there were a lot more "crazy" theories all across the board. nowadays it feels like that, no matter how well you've build your theory and answered any doubts that might go against it, someone somewhere will go "but they never said that, it's not canon" and it pains me so 😔
Isn’t GATE based on a old Reddit post about some US Marines who traveled back in time to Rome? And the Reddit user wrote a story about it and then went on years later to make the anime because he was hired because of said post?
Not at all. It’s by a Japanese dude name of Yanai Takumi who wrote the novels in Arcadia, a site where people write and publish their original works, then it was picked up by a publishing house and made into a light novel then later into an anime, same as a trillion other shows you have watched, particularly but not limited to mid isekai garbage, that’s an actual pipeline. No Japanese studio would care enough about a western website’s shitposting to fund an anime of it.
People really just want to win at the smallest things, so they’ll cheat. A Free to play game with no rankings? Cheat. A small Fate fighting arena based on votes on Tumblr? Cheat. Some people just get a thrill of it, like a drug.
Either way, trying to figure out a solution has gone from 'no problem' to 'slightly aggravating'. It's much easier to transition naturally without worrying about anyone rigging anything, than suddenly having to pivot, accounting for some weirdo cheater, and hope to make whatever solution I come up with foolproof.
Part of me just kind of wants to call it. My momentum's kinda crashed. Maybe these sorts of games aren't in the cards for me. TGrailwar was maybe just meant to be a one-and-done thing, if I can't trust anybody to be normal about it.
Happy late birthday then 🥈
Thanks :)
“What are you doing out this late?” @alphabeowolf-ism
"I dont see how thats any of your business Ava."
Aurora had been out rather late but it was mainly so she could pratice using her semblance as she had only had it for a very short while.
Okay but we can still partially blame Morgan Le Fay for the fall right?
no dumbass the point is that it's meaningless to point fingers at who is to blame for the fall of camelot because it's not a story about crime and punishment it's about people trying to do the best they can in navigating the consequences of what must be surrendered to save as many as possible. saber didn't think her humanity was too steep a price to pay and morgan thought it was and that's why morgan never approved of saber's reign. the whole point of morgan looking so much like saber is to rub in there is no functional difference in who they are only in the role they had to play
'i just don’t understand you’
@alphabeowolf-ism
"And i dont understand you either. Guess we got that in common, huh?"
