Falling (Orig. Song: Harry Styles) by JK of BTS

I was a directioner before I became an ARMY. When Harry Styles released this song and I first heard it, I cried. I cry every time I hear this song. Everyone thinks he's talking about his break up from his previous lover. I'm not sure if Harry admitted it, but what he did admit in the Rolling Stones magazine is that he wrote this song naked. Like literally naked while he was writing the song with a piano and with a friend. You could say he was physically and emotionally vulnerable creating this song.

With Jungkook singing it, the song becomes a whole another meaning. In the PTD online concert, he (along with his members) confessed to us that he was losing the fire, the passion and motivation to keep on going, to create music, to performing. All of us Army can see it in their eyes.

Harry Styles said that this song is about loss, it's about falling into a dark place, and being at the lowest point in your life.

When this cover came out, I didn't think any of it. I just got excited to listen to it. After a few replays, it dawns on me that this is a heavy song. This was released on the anniversary of their last live concert they had together with an audience. I couldn't help but keep this at loop and cry every single time JK cries out the chorus

It aches my heart when he raises his voice to "And I get the feeling that you'll never need me again", and I want to reach out to him and the boys and hug them.

I wish to have the LA concert to come soon, and that they'll have many more performances with live audiences to come. I pray that everything will come back to normal.

I became an ARMY through BTS reactors in Youtube. But it felt weird to go and click on their videos reacting to this cover. It didn't feel right. JK has a reason in releasing this song. The thought that he sang this perhaps from a dark place. It hurts.

No matter what I hope JK knows that we love him. That he's our forever beautiful golden singer. That he deserves the world and love. That we will always be by his side, holding his hand, every step of the way. We love you, Jungkook 💜

it finally happened armys!! jk did a cover of falling by harry styles. you have no idea how long i’ve wanted someone from bts to cover him or a 1d song. it was so beautiful and i’m lowkey crying right now. he really sang his heart out!! 🥺😢💜

It would have helped if I searched American Idol instead of X Factor. 😆 he did a really good job! I’m still partial to Harry’s version, but I like the pain — this one is too upbeat for me. But his voice sounds good!
