and actually all of fallout is catching my evils or whatever
every single person in the writers room for fallout 4 is going to hell. what do you mean one of your main quests driving conflict is slavery and the organization that frees them is the railroad?
AND ON TOP OF THAT. the only black people in it are an android and a chemmed out mad scientist tweaker. fuck you all actually. not an ounce of awareness in this white ass franchise.
My new Fo4 OC: Petra Onassis
After drawing her a bajillion times and rotating her in my mind nonstop for weeks, I'm finally feeling brave enough to post about her!
Petra is not the SoSu, she's a synth who escaped the Institute with the help of the Railroad. She opted out of the mind wipe, instead deciding to work for the Railroad herself. As the Minutemen are growing in influence, she travels around from settlement to settlement setting up small RR safehouses wherever she goes and running synths from place to place.
In order to avoid suspicion, she travels with her band as a nightclub singer, performing in the evenings at settlement bars throughout the Commonwealth. (I have yet to design her band, but they're all RR tourists and help with missions and safehouses.)
The General of the MM knows about Petra, they have an agreement of sorts. Petra doesn't get to spend much time around HQ, since she's always moving about, but she and Glory are somewhat of an item, and meet up between missions when they're in each other's orbits. They're non-exclusive, but have a strong emotional bond, as Glory was the one who helped Petra escape, and understands what she's gone through.
Working on some drawings about how things change for Petra after Glory's death, and how much she and my other OC, Lin, have to do with each other.
Still trying to figure out how to draw Petra with some kind of consistency, she looks different in every drawing, but whatever. Even though the aesthetic of Fallout is very 1950's, I was leaning into more of a 20s/30s showgirl look for Petra. Her makeup is inspired by Liza Minnelli's makeup in Cabaret.

Reference: Danai Gurira Software: Procreate Time: 3 hours Description: I really enjoyed this one. This idea sat on my fallout to do list for a while. I am planning to create similar types of drawings for other characters too. I kinda did that with Cait already.
Hi can I please get Glory taking care of a sick Sole Survivor?
I definitely need to preface this with how sorry I am that it took me THIS long to get around to writing this OMG- I do adore Glory though, she has to be one of my favourite non companion characters (she would've been too powerful as a companion) and I'm forever bitter that she gets killed off

Glory Taking Care of a Sick Sole Survivor
As a synth, Glory doesn't know the first thing about being sick. It's one of those things that differentiated Gen 3 Synths from humans, but it never bothered her. Getting slowed down by a common cold was too much a liability, one she was glad she didn't have to deal with either.
But, when you come stumbling into HQ looking worse for wear, trying to pretend that you weren't battling a merciless case of flu, Glory couldn't help but feel a little bit sympathetic. You two had grown to be good friends since you'd joined the Railroad, maybe she'd even consider you trustworthy now you'd stuck around for long enough - that was a big deal for her.
Almost everyone else was far too paranoid about catching whatever you had to go anywhere near you, practically banishing you to a bed in the corner of HQ where you miserably sat, nursing a bottle of Nuka Cola. Glory didn't have to worry about that, though, so she figured she could try and make the effort.
Not that she had any idea what to do, deciding to first ask Doctor Carrington how to treat the flu. She came back to you with almost too much purified water, snacks to last you a lifetime and a blanket she'd stolen from Tom.
Knowing you must've been itching to get back out into the Commonwealth - because Railroad HQ isn't the best of places to be - Glory tried to nurse you back to health as quickly as possible. She tried not to leave your side much, knowing it must've been quite lonely, but if she was needed for a mission, she couldn't pass up the chance to help out - you understood.
It was actually nice to see you slowly getting better, especially when you were able to lift your head off your pillow without being plagued by a migraine. Glory was almost proud of herself too, to know that she'd been able to help, even with something she had no experience in.
When you were completely healthy again, Glory found that she felt closer with you than she had at first, she'd even enjoyed helping you recover from your sickness. A part of her was just waiting for you to get sick again, if only for her to spend even more time taking care of you.
