Lucy hummed to herself as she walked down the dark street, her body tired from a long shift, but her pocket full of tips kept a pep in her step. They would go towards her new car and soon enough she wouldn’t have to walk to and from work.

She was so caught up in her excited thoughts about what new car she wanted to get that she didn’t hear the footsteps behind her. She did hear the husky voice that said, “All alone, little lady?”

Lucy whirled around, coming face to face with a man dressed head to toe in black. He was staring at her with dark eyes. She couldn’t quite tell what colour they were in the dark but she could tell that they were heated. He was looking at her hungrily and it made her feel uneasy. She’d never had someone look at her like that, like she was a piece of meat and they were starving.

“U-Um, hi,” Lucy said brightly, trying to keep her voice from wavering. “I didn’t see you there.”

“‘Course you didn’t,” He chuckled. “I was behind you.”

WIP WEDNESDAY

An itty bitty bit more of Nate x Nora x Hancock because they still aren’t doing it, and I don’t know whose in charge here

It was a night over two hundred years ago that started it. A lovely, spontaneous, date night in the park that drifted well into the night as the sounds of a nearby concert drifted to them clear as a bell. Nora couldn't quite recall whose hands started wandering over who, or the progression of events that led to her being on her hands and knees, panties discarded and her dress rucked up to her waist as Nate fucked into her from behind. What she did know, was that it was the sound of distant voices, the sound of approaching footfalls, the idea of getting caught, the idea of someone watching that sent her into the best orgasm of her whole damn life.

It became a go-to fantasy after that. When she had a hard time getting off, or when Nate was out of town, imagining someone watching as she was pleasured always did the trick. The fantasy started as a nondescript man, a figure looming in the dark who watched and got off on watching. Then there was a steady change; the building of a character, the evolution of a fantasy. The man wouldn’t only watch, he would join, accompanying Nate in pleasuring Nora— and that was right around the time the nondescript fantasy man turned into a very distinctive fantasy of Hancock.

A bit of a chapter WIP from my fic (Love in the Crosshairs) below the cut (Under 18? 👉🏻 Off you go. This isn't for you!)

"I gotcha, darlin," Sturges' words were a whisper, fingers stroking the nape of Mac's neck. 

Darlin’? That word alone sends him over the edge, his breath hitches and he’s trembling. "Beau, I—oh God—" MacCready gasps, holding tighter, his vision swimming as his hips thrust one final time.

“I gotcha,” Sturges lips graze Mac's temple as he holds him through his release, and his thumb brushes against MacCready’s cheek, leaving goosebumps in its wake. 

Sturges was warm, solid and safe beneath him, running a hand gently over the small of MacCready’s back. The following kiss was a gentle brush of their lips and the warmth felt different somehow, its tenderness leaving MacCready wanting to lose himself in every part of this moment and never let go.He closes his eyes, heartbeat steadying as the last tremors fade. 

They stay like that, holding one another for a while, chests pressed tightly, rising and falling with every synched breath, and when he next meets Beau’s gaze, Mac's chest tightens at the expression he finds there, the adoration in Sturges' eyes, unmistakable.

Sturges smiles, cupping his face in both hands as he turns,, his blue eyes capturing the warmth of the firelight from his bedside, a lazy grin tugging his cheeks upward, and he can’t look away, like he’s committing the other man’s face to memory: The way the light plays across the lines and planes of his Wasteland-weathered features, the slight part of his kiss-bruised lips, his tousled hair and gentle features..

It’s too real—too intimate. It wasn't supposed to be like this—he wasn’t supposed to be catching feelings. He swallows thickly. He needs space—needs to breathe.
