I saw a video of a woman saying it was a bad day in the Stranger Things fandom because David cheated on his wife for three years.

And I’m sorry but I just don’t see how this affects the fandom at all.

Hell, his family is one of the clients my firm deals with so for me it means more paperwork but that’s the extent of it.

Him cheating on his wife doesn’t factor in to whether I enjoy the final season or not.

omg the discourse from the last two weeks has been so funny to me. Suddenly it’s a show construct that brown people are fodder for Dany’s SL and I’m like whet? People love getting on this app and swearing up and down they know exactly what GRRM would and wouldn’t do like they know what’s in his head and like he’s written a new book recently. It’s so lazy and dishonest and shallow to me. So convenient that now everyone is shocked the brown people are dying for Dany’s story as if this wasn’t set up from the moment GRRM wrote Dany as a white savior who would conquer a land populated by a bunch of brown people then drag then into her war to win the throne back. Oh no that’s not how we got here at all, we got here because “omg DnD are so shitty look at what they are doing the to brown people!″. 

Last week it was “wow they killed all the brown people for the NK”..... like the Dothraki weren’t always gonna die for a white woman’s war from the moment Dany married Drogo. 

This week it’s “wow they killed Missandei for Dany’s SL” like Missandei and Greyworm weren’t literally created in GRRMs mind as props for Dany. I bet you any amount of money if this was a book plot half the people on here pretending to care about POC lives wouldn’t give a damn. A lot of this fuss is about people wanting to feel validated in their hate and NOTHING makes people in fandom, especially white people, feel more valid in their hatred of something fictional like some good ole social justice. I had to laugh seeing people talk about “I was so disgusted seeing Missandei die like that” as if last week ya’ll weren’t dragging her for being a shallow character who only exists to kiss Dany’s ass. Also let’s talk about how the same people who suddenly are so sick about Missandei were placing bets that Missandei would basically be enslaved again by Dany when she tried to leave with Greyworm because that’s totally not problematic as hell and that’s totally writing that shows that POC lives matter lmao 

I peep game from 1000 miles away. I’ve observed fandom for too long to not see the ploys people hide behind on here. It’s the same thing every time like clockwork and when you call bullshit on them they used the same bully tactics to try to get you to be quiet. Too bad I really don’t care about any of the shallow shaming ploys people use on this app. I know a lot of folks don’t like that but I really can’t be bothered to give a damn at this point because I’m really not here for people using stuff like racism for their petty bitter agendas. OML this fandom is so embarrassing!!

Some idiot Nakuul fans apparently tweeted that Nakuul is more talented than Harshad because the former has more/a million followers on Instagram *facepalm*

Even if keep aside basic logic that Harshad was missing onscreen for the last 3 years when the social media boom took place and he has a MUCH longer and better résumé, than Nakuul, just the idea of measuring talent or even popularity by counting the number of Insta followers is so lame. 

I am not on Insta (nor will ever join), so does my opinion/take on acting talent in the industry count for nothing?

TRP/social media/bought awards are not always the measure of how talented an actor is!!
