Just came accross a youtube channel called inspectorexjusticeforjohn and they post clips of both Rex shows the original and the canadian remake, anyway the title got me thinking of an idea, it might need some commitment of sorts,depending on how enthusiastic one is. How about someone start a youtube channel, upload videos of whatever format that cover the whole Hudson and Rex debackle from missinformation from fans, spreading gossip I.E that fb group, highlighting the dispicable behaviour from Shaftsbury to SD abusive retorts on fb, the whole SM censorship towards fans asking genuine questions, and wanting the lead actor back. The justice for John part in the title triggered this idea, but it is not just about John though, it is about the poor ethics of a production company that needs exposing..We have had tiny moments of joy via news articles online, stating some of the drama, confirmation from x crew, who were willing to state their piece without threats from the production team. Ok the news articles did not cut the mustard in terms of digging deep, but there were snippets. Then we have the Dog poisongate, where about as much resesrch went into the article a drunk as organising a pissup in a brewry, we can expose the biased reporting, the fan blaming, the lies, the coverups as much as we know, without comming accross as just another gossip channel, being noisy about the whole corruption going on. Reddit, Fb are not able to give us any sort of leaway regarding what we can post, I mean our opinions over that SD interview were deleted, whether we were roasting it or not, and also fb has issues with how much you can say on there. The group is a censorshipfest, IG well, they hide even the most innocent of comments if they wish. So youtube might be a good idea, if one were to stick with verified facts, utilsing already public information, and spreading our findings, reasonable conclusions and debunking the lies, gossip, slander etc.
Question is, is it doable? I do not have video editing skills, so that leaves me out.
Thoughts?
Okay I’ve talked to a few different people and I had a casual thought. Would people be interested in a writing discord where we can chat back and forth and encourage each other and workshop ideas, especially when we’re stuck? Think of it as being beta readers for each other as needed, but also maybe just some friends hanging out and chatting about the pairings they love? I know there are communities here now, but I still don’t understand how that feature works.
Thoughts? Obviously this needs a little more planning and structure, but I just want to know if anyone would be interested in it.
Also please know that I tagged a couple of my main pairings at present, but I’d cautiously be open to others, too. As long as everyone is respectful and lets each other ship in peace!
idea: since hpma is coming out on the 27th (and it's free so there's not as much of a problem in playing it) we should all organise so that we all play on the same server or smth like that thoughts?
Okay okay hear me out:
Mario and Luigi are actually both trans, except Mario is a trans man and Luigi is a trans woman who *chose* the name Luigi as her girl name and then Peach is this burly buff masculine person who looks more like Wario but is still wearing the Peach dress and is named Peachetta and uses all pronouns and Yoshi and Toad are a gay married couple who have three weird dino-mushie babies and Wario and Waluigi are pretty much the same except Wario is one of those people who is on a very strict diet and wants everyone to know about it but the diet is literally just Barbecue Pringles and Crush Grape Soda and Waluigi is helping him with it while simultaneously tempting him with Crush Orange Soda, which is Wario's favorite but it wouldn't have the same effects as the Grape Soda, and Bowser and Luigi are secretly hooking up but Luigi doesn't want anyone to know that she's into furries (or, in this case, scalies) so she and Bowser pretend to hate each other and Daisy is just an old woman who will go on forever about stories from the past when the past is actually the future because she's in this weird time/space wormhole where she's going backwards in time by intervals of days (so her week goes Saturday, then Friday, then Thursday, et cetera) but she's aging normally to herself but backwards to everyone else so all of these stories that she has are just her telling the crew about their future and the whole time there's just lo-fi heavy metal cover songs playing in the background.

I think it would be a sweet send off the fans could use to rally our community and thank the Crewniverse for the hard work they’ve done to make an amazing story.
Not sure if it could work, but I would love to see ether hashtag get popular on Twitter or Tumblr. 😁
