Ragatha is like... the most normal character ever. A woman in her thirties who wants to have friends and wants to be nice and wants to be liked by people and feel useful and has some self worth issues, that's literally normal what are we doing

Sometimes you'll believe yourself to be really self aware, and then a fictional character will come along and point out all of your blind spots more successfully than any licensed therapist you've ever spoken to. And you just have to live with that.
Someone said something about this before, let’s see, who was it, oh I remember…
IT WAS ME!!!!
I'm so done with this fandom
What is with ppg "fans" and making innapropiate art of children and using the excuse of "well they're aged up in this" when the powerpuff girls are STILL canonically FIVE years olds like are we okay.
It's honestly a little bit weird (and slightly vindicating, slightly annoying in hindsight) to see so many people being so critical of every minute aspect of Good Omens S3.
Because I was just as critical of Good Omens S2, and not nearly as many people were onboard with that. People weren't okay with their special season being criticized.
But now that S3 ended with such a sad and shitty twist ending, it's given people free reign to re-evaluate things they didn't like about S3, and even S2, that don't align with S1 (which is what lots of people are taking as their new sole canon). Whereas if S3 had ended happily, there wouldn't be nearly as much license among the general fandom consensus to criticize the rushed writing choices.
Idk, it's just weird to see people so gung-ho to criticize this time around. I'm like 'thanks for joining the critical parade, I was here marching in it 3 years ago!!!'
Checking an update on a story I've been following with great interest on Ao3 and happened to wander down into the comments.
There was a guest account comment there accusing the author of overfocusing on Agatha's attraction to Rio and implying that the author, and others in the fandom, have a problem with portraying/considering older women as sexy. Reading it I realized it was word for word a guest comment another author had screenshotted on a story of their own and posted about here lately.
Who the hell is out here copypaste accusing the Agatha All Along fandom of not knowing older women can be attractive/not finding older women attractive? Because that is SO WILD. This is a fandom full of people who thirst, at times nigh-violently, over ladies in their 70s (mostly Patti, but I see you Debra Jo appreciators)
Fuck, people are weird.
one of my blorbos is a too smooth, practiced seducer of all. he's a people pleaser and is fun to be with, but he also feels deeply. he's got a tormented past and how you the PC interact with him can make him so much better or so much worse.
the other is a thin man with a metal cage on his head, who smiles too widely and makes you chase after him. he doesn't hit you with a weapon, no, he shoots tentacles out of his hand and summons the very stars to find you. all the whole laughing and conversing with you, hoping to talk to him about the cosmos.
one is a sexy vampire spawn
the other is a very not sexy madman nerd
both of these people occupy space in my brain at the same time
Do you all understand the dichotomy I must live with?
