One of my pet peeves is fans calling actors by their nicknames. Like no dude that's for their friends, and you are not that.

Fandom peeve: As someone who went to a university with a St Regulus Hall and a St Regulus Tower, it bugs the shit out of me when people refer to Regulus Black with a hard G like Reginald, instead of a soft G like regulate.
DL fandom pet peeve
The lowkey high key racism and misogyny in the fandom.
I was literally told that making a poc original character in the fandom that wasn’t East Asian is “unrealistic”.
Like???? What??? All the Sakamaki, Mukamki and Tsukinami boys are WHITE VAMPIRE BOYS IN JAPAN??? How is that any more realistic? Like there’s no non-racist explanation for that.
Everyone skin color is beautiful and it’s honestly so annoying how one is elevated and associated with pretty aesthetics while the other barely is.
It’s even more petty, how people really get threatened by a fictional character who gets attention from fictional boys.
ALSO
reminder: vampires aka fictional creatures can be black. cope. vampire lore belongs everywhere, not just Europe.
“But vampires are pale!!!1!1!!1!”
Shut up. Just shut up.
obviously my fanon peeve about myself is how everyone portrays me as Evil Murder Child but what peeves me even more is how the fandom treats papyrus. he's not a fucking child! nor is he uwu precious innocent babey! he is very intelligent, strong, and, most importantly, kind. which is why so many people seem to think he's childish. because kindness is childish?? ugh.
he is just as strong as sans, if not stronger because he, you know, has more atk, def, and hp than sans. he's displayed a talent for being so precise with his magic that he can stop mid-attack when you reach 1hp.
tl;dr: papyrus is a strong and perfectly capable adult monster, and i'm tired of the entire fandom treating him as only the Precious Cinnamon Roll and source for Sans Angst.

I need to get something off my chest…
I've been part of this fandom for almost two years now, and it has brought me so much. I've made awesome friends, found a community where I can be myself, and it's the only place where I feel I've contributed something constructive.
But I've seen the dark side of the moon too.
I've seen people brutally lash out at each other. I've seen people call other people names and attack them so viciously that I wonder if one dares to say such things in real life to someone's face. I've seen people accuse others without doing their research properly, an assault based on assumptions.
Simply because one's otp isn't yours? Simply because someone's opinion on a matter is different? Simply because you interpret canon like this, and someone else like that? Because someone wrote something that wasn't up your alley?
And it is fair to have different opinions, to like different things, but I've also noticed that a lot of people are as stubborn as a mule. It almost seems as if canon doesn't get discussed anymore to share ideas and perspectives, but to persuade others to view it like they do. Instead of inspiring, it seems as if we're hellbent on shoving one's opinion down someone else's throat.
Do we do this because we see others do it too? Do we do this because we haven't learned how to discuss without judgement? Or do we do this because we're all, collectively as humanity, try to change the world from the rusted ways it has been in for ages?
In a community such as ours, where we celebrate and adore worlds in which we can be free, where cast outs find understanding in beloved characters and amongst each other, and where we are united by the one thing we love so much, why do we do this?
Why hurt others? Why not discuss and let live in peace? Why lash out so malicious? Why can't we let others be who they are, believe what they want, and have their opinions? Why can't we agree to disagree without trying to intentionally hurt someone? Especially in fandom!
And I, too, have fallen victim to this - people calling me, and saying, nasty things. And less proud to admit, I've also been the aggressor, which I've changed because I don't want to be that person.
But in the end it leaves me with one question: Why can't we share in the one thing we all love without judgement, without being malicious and let each other be?
A major fandom pet peeve…
Please, PLEASE stop simping for us Alternates! We don’t care, we only want your demise. And especially Gabriel. Our Gabriel created us to invade humanity, our sole purpose.
We don’t want to be called “uwu boys” or “poor little meow meows”. I think I can say the same for Mark and Cesar and Jonah. Even the creator of my source, Alex Kister, literally does not want people simping for us!! The creator!!! Said this!!!!
Respect us Alternates, Mark, Cesar and what have you, especially respect Alex. We don’t want to be simped for.

fandom peeves? please stop criticizing me for taking the cure. i didn’t just do it for a boy, im a fucking lesbian for god’s sake. i did it because killing everyone you touch is incredibly fucking traumatic and i was desperate for any chance at a normal life. do you know what it’s like to be so touch starved? to have to cover every inch of your skin out of fear of hurting someone you love? if not, shut your mouth about my decision to take the cure. you’ll never understand. -rogue (x-men) (tag as fictive)
