Interesting….just had a Thai fan confirmed on Twitter FK as CP is not as popular in Thailand as they are internationally. One of the reason being their shows on GMMTV are usually not the target audience of what people in GMMTV actually watched

I have this theory that only white men who are really treated as masculine are feminised easily in media.

If it's not a white man, feminising a character doesn't happen on a popular level.

If it's a white man who's masculinity is often called into question, he actually still won't be fully allowed to be feminine.

But if it's a white man, esp middle or upper class coder, they're properly treated as a man without questioning their gender, they have a halo effect from white fandoms. They're often seen as less violent and angry than the other characters (male, female, non-white people of all kinds, etc.). And then they're feminised in a uniquely white way, where they're portrayed as victims in a unique way. They're feminised in the specific way where they're put in opposition to the "crasser" characters. They don't have to be seen as accountable for anything they do.

The white woman character version of this is to make them a lesbian. If they're a lesbian, you apparently don't have to contend with their responsibilities and actions, including their canon support for shit men in the media.

(ofc if ur not a white.woman, this does not apply lol).

Until people don't treat headcanon as if it was fanon or AU, we can't never be free of stupid nonsenses in the fandom. Like feel free of make shitty fanon from a media, but don't call it headcanon when it's derived too far from the source materials which devoided of logic if it still follows the headcanon timeline

What do you think about people who talk down on Sephiroth's strength? You think they've just never played the game, take gaming mechanics as actual lore (like them saying the party members in battle can beat him)😂 or just don't know who Sephiroth is.

They never played!!! Like I've seen ppl say that 'Sora can beat him!' 'Cloud beat him 3 times' Yeah no shit? He is the final boss..he is meant to be defeated, duh! But take account of the people who think he's really a hard boss to beat especially in KH ..that's just his meta...IRL people having difficulties beating him. That's how powerful he is. Lol. And the devs emphasized that he never gave 100% power in fights. It would be really scary if he were to give 100% of his power 😱
