1) One of the dumbest things about this situation is that I did not even know that the person who made initial Tweet telling people to kill themselves over liking a ship was a minor. I saw absolutely unacceptable Tweet, and I responded to it for how it deserved to be responded.
2) You guys pull the "just minors" card all the time, and what you guys are saying is WAY more insulting towards minors than just posting the screenshots of something ALREADY fully available on Twitter. YOU are the one insulting minors' intelligence and morals by acting like they're somehow conceptually incapable of being responsible for unacceptable and genuinely evil shit. Like, are you implying that nobody simply knows that being a bully over interests and lying is bad until they turn 18?

Of course I took it personally when one of them literally went to dig out a post from over two years ago that was not even racist + long ago deleted after friend explained me what was not right about it just to accuse me of racism (literally where?). Of course I took it personally when one of them ALSO literally screenshotted a random bio that was never mine and lied on their Twitter that it was mine.
It is not "just a dumb thing kids do let them have their childhood uwu", it is lying and slander. It is not "moronic and cruel" to call their actions for what they are.

If I deleted the posts, would they do the same with their posts? Of course not. If they somehow deleted their posts, could I be confident that they would not still keep screenshots and use them every single time I do the awful crime of sharing lore about Bloodborne or otherwise inconvenience them? Of course not. Will they leave me alone tho? Of course not. I will respond to the Twitter comments I get when I see them until they simply stop.
Also I won't fucking negotiate while being talked like that. Seriously, you could literally hold me at a gunpoint and I would still not do what you tell me. I had no control over how he would respond, I simply retorted against misinformation like I always do. You have only half-point that Bloodborne fandoms does notoriously hate lore discussions and only wants their fanons validated.
HOWEVER. For one, he is NOT a Gehrman Hater himself! He was simply drastically wrong about Gehrman in his post, but he didn't express any negative bias against the character or his fans! Nor he is a "puritan trash" (unless some of now-deleted posts gave away such attitude, in which case remember to not throw such strong words without evidence). Nor someone who fell for mistranslation blunders and popular parroted takes (ie 'Doll is idealised housewife made to be submissinve') is automatically an idiot- and I say it as someone who used to throw this insult around generously in the past, but never again. Something that I absolutely love about the Edgedancer Kaladin AU is that it's not just that, right? Because yes, it starts from the idea of changing one thing about the world. And yet it becomes so much fun to explore all of the different potential ramifications of that change.
It is the "What if Kaladin was an Edgedancer?" AU, but it is also the "What if Moash was a Skybreaker?" AU, the "What if Eshonai lived and became a Willshaper?" AU, the "What if Dalinar died on the Shattered Plains?" AU, the "What if Helaran had lived?" AU, and the "What if Adolin was a Windrunner?" AU all rolled up into one.
And it provides so many interesting character opportunities to play with. Idk, it's just cool to see so many different ideas spring from one question
One thing I really like about Funger is how it portrays the decline and growing mysteriousness around its old gods as Alll Mer and the new gods came into the picture, honestly pretty accurate portrayal of how pagan gods became ominous and terrifying as Christianity spread and older religions became obscure. Termina takes this even further by having advancing technology and the mere existence of Logic sort of questions the religions that dominate the world.

Like, I get that some people won't like the sassy, prickly nerd archetype without a sad backstory to justify it and character arc to "fix" it, but it should be a no brainer that not everyone feels the same way. The thing is, a character can still be funny and possess a unique charisma even if they seem to be a bit of an ass! It is a valid archetype that sometimes doesn't get development and charscter arc but is still entertaining! And if little dialogue and no lore is the reason why we should not care about the character... well, you'd be shocked to find out about microfandoms for Scarf Mouse, Skater and green flame girls and some others then hghgjghchj This is the "no minor character gets left behind" fandom. The "character who only has a design and nothing else gets fans" fandom, even.
Besides, I'd make an argument Berdly was not even that one-dimensional character even in Chapter 1!
He literally expressed concern for Kris' well-being later after they disappeared for a whole day with the person he only knew as a bully until later events! Like, he clearly teases Kris a lot, but the seeds of it just BEING their dynamic as friends was established in Chapter 1.
As players we first got the idea he was just some mean bully nerd, but in actuality this is subverted and we see it is just how Kris and Berdly do things. I mean, you can literally tell Berdly to go near the Hospital window when Rudy says to bring Berdly there so he can throw something at him and he gets all nervous like "ahah I can't" fhghdyhg
Like, look at this and tell me Berdly wasn't fucking hilarious since Chapter 1. xD Also look at this and tell me they aren't just mutually teasing on regular basis. Kris themselves is a bit of an ass with all the pranks, why not be friends with someone who likes to tease? And they were the trashtalkers
In summary: Some people just don't really need to be big impressed by a character arc to like a character + Kerdly was always real
