After several months, I finally finished my Rookanis piece. It was made in celebration of my Lucanis screenshot making 200 notes. I wanted to do something extra special and decided to take inspiration from more classical looking art so the reference I used was The Rite by Roberto Ferri. I came up with all of this before I even finished the game so to my surprise this ended up being entirely perfect. My Rook + Lucanis Please no reposting, reblogs are always welcomed

I find it so ironic that some of my favorite fan art is the messy draft lines of pieces that the artist JUST NEEDED to get on paper. They aren't finished or perfect but are passionate and beautiful. Yet when I'm drawing fanart I'm like EVERY LINE MUST BE PERFECT OR ITS A FAILURE.

My brain is so funny.
