I find it so ironic that some of my favorite fan art is the messy draft lines of pieces that the artist JUST NEEDED to get on paper. They aren't finished or perfect but are passionate and beautiful. Yet when I'm drawing fanart I'm like EVERY LINE MUST BE PERFECT OR ITS A FAILURE.

My brain is so funny.

Urges in the Dark

Feeling pretty raw the past couple weeks, so i channeled it into finishing this sketch. I have a lot of really complicated feelings about durge, I think that's pretty self-evident.

An: in much much better at painting, pencils are to stiff so I don’t sketch much. Plus I have no idea how to shade with pencil 😭

It's finally completed! I can check off at least one of my WIPs this week.

Birthday piece for my brother @skeleinor !!!!!!! Today is officially his birthday in EST time.

They are the youngest out of the three of us and their birthday request was simple enough, draw their OC!

They also have finally started a youtube channel they've dreamed about doing for years now so check them out and make his day!

Logan from My Time at Sandrock

My fanart I have worked on this past week. Also trying new signature for art, I really like the feel and look of this new sigil. Finally sat down and watched some art tutorial videos which definitely helped with how I colored this piece! I still can't get over the fact that it had taken me about 300 hours of game play for Logan to move back to sandrock.

WIP WEDNESDAY

LET'S GOOOOOOOO!

A post of mine got about 200 notes. Which is big for me. I don't think even back when I had a blog in 2014 I had that happen for me. So, I made this poll that had a funny screenshot and asked what people would like to see to celebrate my little tumblr achievement. The poll hasn't ended but it's basically at 60/30 for fanart/oneshot and I do not foresee the oneshot decision making a comeback from that.

With all of this in mind I went ahead and started the sketch for the fanart celebration post! Under the cut will be a sneak peek of the WIP so far and I will add a small portion of text from the next chapter in my fic for funsies.

Chapter two of Elgara Vallas is out now if you wanted to catch it but had missed the post. Its a slow building story but i got biiiiiiig plaaaans big plans

Cold bricks, soggy hair, floating memories. The rain was a welcomed site even if it dampened Ghoul’s mood. This tavern was it, where they were supposed to meet the infamous Neve Gallus. A name familiar to Ghoul through the whispers within Minrathous and her old comrades within the Shadow Dragons. Fancy she was going to finally meet the fascinating detective.
