New Character Art!!

I’ve been working really hard on updating some of my old artwork for my fankids and I wanted to share a few new pieces!!

Arthur (formerly Noah), and Apollo (formerly Logan) have gotten minor changes and mostly got updated to my newer style (their original art was several years old), while Sophie got a full on redesign!! Their profiles are being worked on currently, with Sophie getting a fully revamped profile with new information, and a complete new storyline!!

Hoenn is also getting a bunch of new kids, and new storylines as well, so be on the lookout for that!

If there's one thing Logan loves, it's cool pokemon, and battling- wait that was two.. Logan enjoys whatever is the coolest at the moment, big strong monsters, edgy birds, you name it, and if it’s ‘cool’, he has it. Along with his battle skills though is the ability to skateboard, making him a bit faster than his colleagues. Lucas says it reminds him of someone, but Logan doesn’t pay that much attention to him.

Fankid Week Day 1: Family & Friends

(A/N: Before I go and post this, I know a bunch of people are making artwork for fankid week, BUT I wanted to branch out, so instead, we’re doing fanfic for each day of the week! First day: family & friends!)

Summary: Preparing for Belle’s journey, Lyra is extremely worried on how it’s going to go, especially since she’ll be away from her. It’s starting to freak her daughter out. Summary pt. 2: After being dropped off at Goldenrod, Belle and Logan are getting ready to set off!! Characters: Lyra, Belle, and Logan

“Are you sure you have everything?” Lyra asked, sitting over piles of clothes and drawers pulled out and opened- “I’m sure! You don’t have to worry mom” Belle noted, a little confused about her mom’s sudden panic- Lyra always seemed to have it together “I’m just making sure! Going on a journey is especially hard— especially since you’ll be going with Logan— he’s all the way in goldenrod! And I don’t want you to forget things and remember last minute!” Her mother got up from the pile, situating Belle’s bag a bit more to the left- “Do I have to have a bag? I have pockets—“ “YES.”

Belle didn’t like seeing her mother this way- it was freaking her out! Suddenly, it was getting her worried- she’s never seen her mother like this, so what does that mean for the journey ahead? She got increasingly more uncomfortable as Lyra searched, but eventually, she let out a sigh.

Belle looked over at what she had in her hands. The bow off her signature hat had fallen off. But instead of Lyra fretting, she got up, and secured it around Belle’s head. “Oh Suzu-Belle..” She put her hands on her cheeks “I just want the best for you, you know that?” She gave a soft smile “And I want you to achieve your dreams, and I want you to stay safe— I’m sorry I’ve been worrying so much..” She let go of her. “But, it’s always a trainers dream to see the world. And I understand, I was that kid too, I just.. need to know you’re prepared. So I’ll ask you one more time.”

She took a step back.

”Do you have everything?”

Belle took a moment, before nodding “I do, mom.” “Okay.. Then go and head out. Dad will drive you to Goldenrod.” She smiled, patting her head.

“Oh, and..” She took the bag from her daughter, taking all the extra stuff out and handing her the important contents. “.. Have fun, sweetheart!” Belle smiled, putting the essentials in her pockets and ran outside.

“I’m here!!” Belle ran over to her friend, jumping up and down, swerving around people everywhere- until she skidded to a stop. “That took.. Awhile!” Logan laughed a bit, teasing her “Hey! Azalea and Goldenrod are VERY FAR from eachother! Blame the move!” She giggled along. “And we’re gonna have to travel all the way to New Bark-“ “Well, at least we’ll get a lot of exercise!”

Logan gave her a smile, nodding “Yeah! Yeah we will— you got water right?” “I think! We’ll be fine though. Are you ready to get your starter?” The boy next to her nodded “Yeah!! I’m thinking of picking… Totodile!” “I’m definitely going Cyndaquil, it becomes really strong!” Belle noted, hurrying along her way down the beautiful streets and lights of Goldenrod in the morning “Ah! Wait for me!!”

She turned back to Logan “Catch me if you can—!” Though she’s cut off by a hand grabbing her arm. “Wait, wait—! We need to make this official!” “Official?”

Logan caught up and linked arms with her. “We are, officially, not just friends, but RIVALS!” He seems so proud of himself, but Belle bursts into laughter “did you memorize that?” “What—?! Hey!!” “I’m joking I’m joking! But just because we’re rivals doesn’t mean we’re not friends!” “That’s why I said— Aughhh..” He put his head in his hand “God Suzu-Belle, way to take the fun out of it!” He teased “Well, someone’s gotta be the straight woman here, now let’s go!!”
