Dumbledore
The Crimes of Grindelwald first impressions:
- I was so worried that they gonna botch Grindelwald and make him into just another Voldemort 0.9, but I actually like what they made with him. I really understood why so many people would follow him.
- I would actually like to see more about Grindelwald’s ideology.
- Some characters were criminally underused. Why bring in Flamel at all, if he won’t do anything at all. Same with that Grissom guy who wanted/but actually not to kill Credence. Generally this movie had too many characters. Like, whow as that guy Krall?
- Did Warner Bros forgot that wizards are supposed to wear robes? They did very little effort with HP movies already, having characters wear muggle clothes all the time, but now it seems they have given up entirely. Maybe that’s why Grindelwald so pissed off.
- Oh Queenie. Till the end I thought she was enchanted, but it seems she went with Grindelwald willingly?
- Why is McGonagall at Hogwarts decades before she is according to Pottermore even born. Sure, could be different McGonagall, but then why drop the name at all.
- The ending. You can’t say that Credence is some guy named Aurelius Dumbledore without some more explanation!
- On that note, but if Credence is really a Dumbledore and Albus’ little bro, I hope his arc ends in Aberforth strolling in, telling him he doesn’t have to listen to either of these idiots and dragging him off to his pub/getting him ticket to bloody Australia.
