So I haven’t posted in a while. I have way too many half-done fan projects, but instead this is what I’ve been working on, because… well, I miss my OC’s, sometimes. I don’t post them as often just because they’re significantly harder to talk about, (since the stories they go to don’t exist yet.)

This particular character of mine is relatively new, this being the first time I’ve drawn her. She’s a sort of shadow ruler of her country, being the eldest daughter of a senile king. Her country is at war for the majority of the story she’s in, and she has to keep it afloat all the while pretending that her father is still fit to rule, as many in her father’s court seek the throne. Oh, and her name is Ayumi. She’s still a work in progress, but… I like her.

Anyway, I thought the picture turned out nice so I figured I’d post it.

Some people rightly pointed out that Hunter Schafer was the best choice for Zelda in term of resemblance because of how frighteningly she looks like Zelda but all I can think of is how perfect she is for any fantasy princess.

If this woman will ever get any role as a high fantasy princess she will destinated to be the fancast for half of the Targaryen women and for any oc elf woman in Tolkien's world.

Like she is 26 in those photos and Orlando was 24 in LOTR movie..you can NOT say me that they wouldn't make an adorable couple (i am still sad for my boy unrequired love for Taurin) if they were both this age in 2001.

That girl is born to be an high fantasy princess of elves!

I’ve been on a bit of a tolkien kick lately, and have delved back into the world of fanfiction. I’ve been writing a lot about Lothiriel, and a lot from her perspective. I think its in part because JRR gave us almost no information about her at all, so there is more space for invention while still writing in the world that already exists. Because she’s been in my brain so much, I keep doing bits of art that feature her as well.
