Saw the Fantasybug doll a while back and decided I wanted to turn it into a lil Ladrien fairy AU 🧚‍♀️🌞

I spotted (ha!) a new Ladybug doll!

This is SnowBug, a deluxe doll loosely based on Ladybug’s ice power up. 

I say deluxe because her price is almost the same as the Ladybug and Chat Noir doll set. Her outfit is very... Santa-Claus-like, but fancy enough to justify the deluxe-doll price, I guess.

They kept the cool complements, namely the tiara and the belt:

I don’t know why in the world they didn’t attach the tiara to her head...

Her cape is detailed as well, with a pretty gem as a closing button and a fluffy hood:

This is like Daring Ladybug 2.0 - not only is this outfit completely unrelated to the actual show, but it is taking the place of an actual ice-skating Ladybug: the show’s outfit decorating the box hints that this is THE doll we get for this gimmick.

The back of the box shows two more dolls in the line up, both as, uh, creative as this one: AquaBug (loosely based on Ladybug’s aquatic power up) and FantasyBug (I do not really have an explanation for this one). However, the Christmas toy catalogue shows this one only.
