kay loves the idea of watching horror movies and gets really excited to watch one with you, but once the movie actually starts playing, she gets scared!
she'll try to hide how scared she is, awkwardly laughing every time she flinches when something scary happens on screen!
but kay can only hide how scared she is for so long! she keeps on flinching, until she eventually grabs onto your arm when things get too scary!
you might find it amusing how scared she is, despite being the one suggesting to watch that movie, but you do comfort her with a hug!
for the rest of the movie, kay simply leans into you, grabbing onto your arm, just to make sure you won't pull away!
and if you ask her if she's alright, she'll quietly reply “as long as you hold me close, i'm not afraid”, hoping that you don't notice how her cheeks turn red…
