The time has finally come to share the artwork I made for the Twilight Princess zine: Near Dawn ! It was so fun, I was very inspired to draw these haunting beasts from my younger days…

HoB: Local Ingredients - Faron

The tropical Faron region lies to the southwest of Hyrule, with a dense rainforest full of Zonai ruins giving way to the coast & a small slice of paradise: Lurelin Village, home of the renown Azure Bay. Rain often storms through the forests, filling it with life, & food: while Hearty Durians no longer grow here, Zapshrooms & Mighty Thistles gives travelers the strength to brave the many storms & velts of this region. ⛈️🌴

Having freed Lurelin Village from pirates, we traveled through the dense rainforest, still following the path to the Fifth Sage. A path through the massive cumulonimbus was cleared, revealing the Thunderhead Isles in the sky, which lead to Dragonhead Isle, floating above Tobio’s Hollow. There, in The Depths below, Ingo found answers to the questions he had in his heart…& having braved through that with his friends, was handed the title of Sage of Spirit from the last Zonai, Mineru. 🖤

I started playing Twilight Princess recently and that game is so peak

it reminds me so much of ocarina of time, (which makes sense bc it’s like technically it’s sequel—three-quel? if that’s the word for it, i dunno.) and i’m playing the wii version, so it also reminds me of skyward sword bc of the motion controls. muscle memory from both of those games has both saved me, and slightly inconvenienced me.

i’ve been trying to work on drawing backgrounds, bc ya girl is not good at those, and i think i did alright!
