Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island
Well that was sweet! Just watched this adorable short series on Youtube. The story telling style was really different, but gave it a charm we fell in love with. Starts so slow and innocently like a mini children's' train ride before turning into a bit of a roller coaster. We were obsessed. Thank goodness for the cute bonus chapters to give us more.

We LOVED this coming of age series. It's a movie length fast watch that we will definitely be watching again. Something about it was achingly beautiful and it felt like a poem. For us, the pacing and style of story telling added to it's charm. The subtitles can be difficult to read and don't always seem accurate, but it had no effect on our enjoyment.
Ending: Happy and we get even more in short bonus episodes 🥰
Tears: no tears, just feels
Main Couple: Queer
Romance Scenes: just a touch of spice
Flavor of Scenes: vanilla
Heads up: Homophobia and bullying. There is also vomiting.

Love this series!!! The characters are great and their actions fit so well within the story. Really enjoy how they both react to things differently based on their personalities. Something about their relationship just feels to precious and satisfying. This was a rewatch and will likely be a rewatch again. Plus, it's a super fast watch with a movie cut that is only 2 hours long. There is a second season and we love that one too, but that one hurts REAL BAD!
Ending: Happy and hopeful
Tears: It's definitely going to hurt, but not for long
Couple: Queer
Romance Scenes: stayed on the sweet side
Flavor of Scenes: vanilla
Heads up: homophobic remarks, and a plot spoiler after the break... skip if you don't need warnings...

This is a super fast watch with the total time well under an hour. We enjoyed this series, however, the characters and story do suffer from the short run time. Still, it was visually stunning and the tension/chemistry was entertaining. This could end up being a rewatch just to see the pretty again and it's an easy fast watch.
Ending: 🥰
Tears: I mean they tried, but there really wasn't time to be sad
Main Couple: Queer
Romance Scenes: Some spicy, emotionally charged kissing

This is a short form vertical drama that was a fun, movie length fast watch. We enjoyed the story and it kept us hooked for all 60 short episodes. Stayed up late and ended up watching in one sitting and didn't regret it. Sweet story that left us with fluffy feels.
Ending: 🥰 Happy and hopeful
Tears: Some feels, but our eyes were dry
Main Couple: Queer
Romance Scenes: sweet kisses
Flavor of Scenes: vanilla
Heads up: homophobia, fear of being out + forcefully outted, abuse

It would be easy to pick a side and we have, but this epic miscommunication was actually well written, with both perspectives being clear and understandable. You can blame either for lacking confidence or bravery, but they both failed and both hurt each other deeply. Their experiences were true to them and left them both with scars and even a new perspective can't erase everything.
