The Flash 100 Page Comic Giant #7, Fatal Finale, is out, and Barry finally wised up on how to defeat the Amazo Rogues: his speed, of course. While Weather Wizard helped to get the scientists to safety (spewing out a few insults at them while doing so, naturally), Amazo ranted about getting rid of humanity because they are just a surplus to his needs. So, he had the Android Rogues keyed to The Flash's speed in order to track him. However, The Flash, who can't stop thinking about how he never made the track team as a kid, had a plan that did not include slowing himself down.🏃🏼♂️ It certainly didn't include Iris and the rest of humanity being crushed by these androids.
According to the hero, "We have a right to fight. To love. To be good. To make mistakes. To live."
And live he did. Destroyed Amazo's immortality. Gave a piece of his mind to Detective Ulski, wished his father a happy birthday, and then "the last thing, the best thing. A date with the most amazing woman...Understatement of the year." This moment is when speed isn't necessary.
Next month, Barry and Iris go on a vacation with King Shark?! The issue states it's the first of a brand new Flash Giant series featuring more adventures. So, I guess no end in sight? We'll see.
