Dedication(s)
Losing weight is hard. It takes consistency. I knew that it would be when I started this journey. But it's more mental than physical. You have to decide if you're going to do this or fall prey to all the reasons why you shouldn't/can't. Which are false.
I realize that I've let a lot of things stop me from becoming a healthier, happier person. I've let my body suffer the damages of my mind based on the opinions of others.
So, I have to heal both. Therefore, for every 10 lbs I lose, I'll dedicate it to something that has held me, or any other person who has had that experience, back. I don't weigh in often. So, I'll primarily do this every other Wednesday.
This isn't just about losing the weight. It's about healing the body and the mind by making life-changes. Maybe I'll make some friends along the way. 😊
Two successful days under my belt!!
Day 1 The hardest part was starting. I found myself doing random chores in my workout clothes. So many excuses until I got comfortable and finally locked myself in my bedroom to start my new journey. I had minimum pain but MAXIMUM sweat. I didn’t die! It was a surprisingly intense but good workout. I didn’t push the limits, I just got comfy and got moving. I even ate healthy afterwards… Until dinner. I had pizza. But I’m working on it! 😊
Day 2
I hate eating in the mornings so I just drank water. Then I felt full during the workout. I definitely pushed it. I most certainly broke something in my ankle region LOL. Not sure what but it’s definitely gone. Or broken. 😅 I pushed through and finished in 1 hour. I’m proud of that. I’m limping but proud. 💪🏾 Then once again ate slop for dinner. I really have to work on that! I do all the work then eat all the crap. I’m so tired when I’m done, even though I wake up early to exercise. So, changing my diet is definitely going to be a major factor. The working out is great and I’m enjoying the intense challenge. Also, BREATHING. I must practice breathing. Day ✌🏾 Down. A lifetime to go.
Loving these Lunch Time Workouts!! 💪🏾
