Tues 26th August

Woke up at 3.30, couldn't get back to sleep 🫩 took Mags out at 5.45, decided to run it rather than trying to find the motivation to run after a full day taking calls.

Saw a rainbow, it rained a bit to cool us off, we saw Maggie's friends

Then we saw our enemy the great dane. It briefly spotted us at the top of a hill before I shouted to the owner to get her dog and we turned on our heels and sprinted away. Obvs it chased us and was barking in Maggie's face and I was trying to drag her away while she was lunging back. I *screamed* at the owner to get her fucking dog and she still came as slowly as hunanly possible. I was fucking furious. We stormed home in a horrible mood.

Went back to bed for half an hour to see if I could get a little bit of sleep before work but no such luck. Got up and made our breakfasts, logged on and work was okay, went exactly as I'd expected it to tbh. 90% fine, 10% dickheads. I didn't let it get to me today though I stayed pretty calm.

Did some yoga on my lunch break for a boost

Worked a bit late to finish some stuff, filled my car up to save myself a job tomorrow, washed it, then lentil bolognese & homemade garlic bread for dinner 😍

9pm, time for bed. Hopefully I sleep better tonight 🤞
